Finally the kid responds

(P.S Nick Fury called a meeting so they all (avengers) went to the meeting room)

Tony's pov

I checked my phone for what was probably the hundredth time.

"Something you'd like to share with us, Stark?" Eyepatch was not putting up with our bullshit today. What I mean by ours is me and bird brains and surprisingly also … Nat. Okay somethings up with her.

But aside from that "Nope" I respond. He stares for a bit waiting for one of my usual , amazing, sparky comments. But today I'm really not in the mood. I can't stop thinking about the kid. I mean could you blame me? I know he got shot and stabbed and he hasn't responded.

I pause noticing the silence in the room looking up to see everyone staring at me "you gonna continue orrrr??" Eyepatch paused, narrowing his eyes at me before sighing and turning around. He casually puts an image on the TV which I quickly recognize as that blue and red vigilante also known as "Spiderman" but aside from that. Eyepatch turns around to look at us with a more serious look "This.. This is Spiderman. He's the reason I called this meeting. Some of you may have heard of him." "Isn't he considered New York's protector or something?" Bird brains quickly interrupts earning a glare from America's show boy and Eyepatch. "Yes. He is considered New Yorks protector." I can just feel the amount of tension in the room. As usual.

"Just because he's considered the protector of New York that doesn't mean he's a good guy. Which is why I called this meeting. SHIELD has been watching him and keeping an eye out. And we've noticed that he is most definitely not a normal person."

I groan already bored "Okay and what does this have to do with us?" Eyepatch glares at me "I hate to admit it but Tony's right" I paused, surprised that capsicle agreed. " I want you to find out spideys identity, what his powers are , his limits ⁹all that nonsense. Whether it's willing or not. Your mission is to bring spidey to SHIELD… alive." We all pause looking at each other in confusion. "Okay.. so you're sending the Avengers after the poor guy?" Nat finally spoke up. I had a feeling she was mad or irritated seeing as she didn't speak at all. But I guess I was wrong. "Yes pretty much now I'll send all the details and whatnot to Steve in other words meetings over" Eyepatch didn't waste a second before leaving and God was I glad. The moment he left the room I checked my phone seeing 6 new messages from… the kid I shoot up from my seat catching everyone's attention pausing "I'm gonna step outside real quick" instantly leaving the room.

I'm not sure why I felt protective over the kid I don't even know him but aside from that. I quickly open messages and see…

I waited a bit seeing no answer. I pocketed my phone and walked in after hearing Steve call me. "What?"

"Okay, welcome back. Now to get straight to the point we need to come up with a plan to capture spidey….." I zoned out after he said that instead  staring out the window.
