We hung around for a little while. And prehistoric seemed to be fund of the sea. He was friendly to seals along the sea shore. The turtles and everything that had a connection with the sea.
He was well built, he looked like he was carved by the Greek god everyday around him was a fairy tale. And it seemed he was more fund of Sekhani than he was of me.
But that didn't mean it was all bad vibes between us.
______
I came out of our little cabin and I saw him and Sekhani talking, laughing and playing. I've never heard him speak.
I went closer to them and sat on the sandy beach,
"What do you think is the not beautiful thing?" Sekhni asked,
More than anything Sekhani loved the sky. He would sit and draw whatever the cloud forms for hours and not fee tired.
"We'll I believed it is the sea" he answered, his voice so calm and masculine. A certain power behind it that assured he was not just anybody's toy...like he was some sort of royalty back in his days.
"Why" Sekhani's eyebrows furrowed
"Well, the sea is uncertain and beautiful, the rise and fall of tides and most of all its strength"
"But the sky takes and gives to the ocean" Sekhani said,
"Alexandria who do you support?" Triton asked,
"Me?"
I was surprised he spoke to me, there was a tingle down my spine.
He spoke to me!
I had butterflies in my belly.
"I'll go with the sky" I shrugged a little bit,
"Are you serious? You take his side?"
"She's my sister" he said as he bumped him in the shoulder and fell, it was like a bouncy ball hitting a wall...
"Alex,we are going fishing want to join us?" Uncle Matthew asked,
"Sure"
"Can I come along too?" He asked,
"Sure!" Dad answered inquisitively but Uncle looked uncertain.
Sean was staying back with mom and Sekhani.
We had caught a lot of fishes more than we needed and prehistoric frowned at the greedy behavior of uncle and dad.
"I think that's enough" he finally intervened,
"What do you mean?"
"We have caught more than enough" he said,
"But we can get more"
"but we don't need more" he said
The authoritative sound of thunder, and darkening of the clouds brought me to the reality of a storm was coming.
"I dont think what any of you believe now will happen...look" I pointed to the clouds, "a storm is coming"
"We better turn around now" uncle said turning the sail,
I placed Mt hands on his shoulder and when he turned I saw his eyes like a storm, so frightening...
"Are you doing this?" he raised his hand in an attempt to get free from my hand and a huge tide rose above us and with a big splash it turned the boat upside down and every single one of us in the water.
I stuggled to keep my head above the water as I swallowed a lot of it. I struggled till my eye lids finally shut tight and all I could hear was people scream.
