Tang Lanzhi who was about to burst into tears from embarrassment, lifted her head when she felt a cloth wrapped her body. She looked up at Wu Shuyu who was smiling back at her with her hand stretched out. "But the Imperial Decree..."

"It's fine. It's fine. Just some old coot spouting nonsense. You did not do anything wrong enough to be treated in this manner." Wu Shuyu shot a glance over at Emperor Feng Yang who quickly turned his head and started whistling. Wu Shuyu did not know whether to laugh or cry. The old fox was really an old fox!

Wu Shuyu quickly helped Tang Lanzhi wear her clothes. Tang Lanzhi blushed at Wu Shuyu's close position. The faint floral scent that exuded off of Wu Shuyu's body filled her nose. All of a sudden a feeling Tang Lanzhi never had before overwhelmed her. Her heart started to beat fast and her face blushed, even more, all the way to her ears. The eyes she looked at Wu Shuyu with changed to a soft gentle gaze. "Goddess Princess Xiannu is very kind. This lowly one thanks Goddess Princess Xiannu from the bottom of her heart for the grace you have given me today. I hope that Goddess Princess Xiannu will forgive me for my actions that day and allow this lowly one to follow Goddess Princess Xiannu from now on!" With her words finished there was a thud sound as Tang Lanzhi once again kowtowed to Wu Shuyu!

Wu Shuyu frowned a bit seeing the damn girl kowtowing again. 'Did I not just help you up!?' Letting out a long sigh Wu Shuyu once again helped Tang Lanzhi up. "You do not need to kowtow to me so please stop. Tang Lanzhi if you really want to follow me and help me in the future then you need to prove yourself. Follow me back to Xiannu Palace after the banquet."

"This servant will follow Goddess Princess Xiannu anywhere she wants me to!" Tang Lanzhi said happily. Her smile bloomed brightly. Emperor Feng Yang who saw this was actually quite surprised at the turn of events but he was also happy about this situation. This meant that his daughter in law could also be magnanimous when needed. He nodded his head in approval. Even the Empress was very happy about this outcome. She never liked the idea of shaming a female in public so she was very happy with the way Wu Shuyu handled it.

"For now go stand with Qin Ming. She will fill you in on what details you need to know. She will be your boss so listen to what she has to say." Wu Shuyu added.

Tang Lanzhi happily nodded her head before running over to stand next to Qin Ming. Qin Ming looked at Tang Lanzhi and knew immediately that she had fallen for the Young Miss just like she had! Qin Ming leaned over and whispered into Tang Lanzhi's ear. "I know how you feel about the Young Miss now. We are the same. We will talk more about it later." Qin Ming then held Tang Lanzhi's hand. Tang Lanzhi was surprised to hear Qin Ming's words and blushed but nodded her head to Qin Ming. The two stood there holding each other's hand as they watched over Wu Shuyu.

Feng Jie felt a cold shiver run down his spine. He had a sudden feeling that something of his was being threatened. He just could not place his finger on what it was. Shrugging his shoulders he went back to watching the show. He looked over at General Wu who was now surrounded by three men. His two new concubines and his new wife. Feng Jie looked at the distorted face of Feng Yijun, his First Brother and sneered. He had investigated Feng Yijun's actions over the past few years and he knew that Yijun and General Wu were in cahoots with each other. To the point that he even instigated Wu Shuyu's Third Sister to whip her that day! He had told Wu Mei that Wu Shuyu had hit on him and that Wu Shuyu was trying to split him and Wu Mei up. Which threw Wu Mei into a rage causing her to use more force than she normally would! At the same time, he had to thank this stupid First Brother because he would have never met the love of his life if not for his actions! But it still did not make it right!

The entire time General Wu's sight never left Wu Shuyu. He wanted to know how was it that this daughter he considered a waste and did not think anything of, would be at such a high position that even the Emperor protected her! General Wu's gaze fell on to the arena in the middle of the garden and a slight grin formed on his face. He leaned back and spoke to one of his servants who immediately walked over to his sons' and then daughters' table. General Wu's smile once again returned as he thought to himself. 'Let's see how good you are when it comes time for the arena competition. If you step even a foot into that arena you will be dead!'

An evil glint flashed through almost all of Wu Shuyu's brothers' and sisters' eyes. All except Wu Xiang, Wu Xuefeng, and Wu Ya. The rest were eagerly waiting to depose of Wu Shuyu. Wu Shuyu calmly sipped her tea as she chatted with the Empress and Bai Fu. She did not let her guard down for even an instant as she watched the happenings of the Wu family. She knew that they were up to something and knew it must have something to do with the arena. But she sneered inwardly as she already knew the outcome of today's matches. None of these high status kids had any battle experience. They will only be trying to exert that power without any skill! So Wu Shuyu was very calm as she waited for the good show to start. She could not kill them but she could beat them to within an inch of their life.
