When he walked out of the exam hall, Nicklaus, Damian and J.P were already outside waiting for him. They were talking and laughing out loud, glad they wrote their last midterm. J.P was the first to spot Lle walk out with a frown on his face and called out to him.

He greeted them all with bro hugs and sighed heavily, running a hand through his hair. He looked around and saw Sophie and Emily talking to Amber, Tae and Jorja.

"What took you so long?" Nicklaus asked, concerned. He and Lle were as close as they could be. Not too much, but also not completely strangers with awkward conversations.

"Yeah, you came in late today. I was even surprised they let you guys in," Damian said with a shrug, pulling his vape pen out and dragging a hit. They weren't regular week smokers, but once in a while, they would take a drag or two.

"Dude, you can't smoke on school premises, and especially in front of me," Lle hissed, looking around for teachers.
