Chapter 1: The start of his story

Over half a millennium ago, an unprecedented archaeological expedition was launched, led by the most esteemed and notorious archaeologist of the time. Any archaeologist who wished to join was welcome, and together they embarked on a quest to uncover the legendary artifact known as the "Book of Truth." This tome, was said to contain the truth of the very essence of life. As the team ventured deeper into the ruins, they faced countless perils, and one by one, the members of the expedition succumbed to their fate. Only one individual survived to reach the relic room, where they discovered the Book of Truth.

As they leafed through the pages, they discovered that it contained the names of every person who had ever made a significant impact on the world and that those people were destined to do so from birth. No matter how hard someone worked, the hero was always fated to rise to the top. The book also outlined the specific criteria for becoming a hero and the benefits that came with it.

The criteria for becoming a hero were as follows:

You must possess courage, conviction, and resolve.

You must be sincere and always pursue your goals until the very end.

You must be a hero from birth.

You must be willing to give up everything to improve the world.

You must always consider what would help the world the most and what would be best for the future.

You must always uphold the principles you have established, regardless of the situation.

You must fight for justice.

No matter how someone hurts you, you are not permitted to injure them.

The benefits of being a hero were immense, including unlimited potential, incredible good fortune, and favorability with every race to accomplish anything you set your mind to.

The one requirement that stood out to the explorer was the necessity of being born a hero. They were struck by a deep sense of injustice upon realizing that some people were privileged while others were left behind. This revelation inspired them to create an organization called "Project Zero," with the sole purpose of eliminating all heroes from the planet Earth.

Now, let's turn our attention to our protagonist, Kaito. When Kaito was just twelve years old, he decided to leave home and learn martial arts. He quickly became known for his exceptional skills, talent and accomplishment.

One day when a wandering young boy named Sato arrived at his master's home, Kaito welcomed him with open arms. Together, they trained under their master, and Sato quickly caught up to Kaito's level, despite being younger and having started later.

Kaito began to feel a growing sense of hatred and jealousy towards Sato, One day when their master went on a trip to gather herbs to help them reach a higher state, Kaito's resentment towards Sato reached its boiling point.

It was at this moment that a member of Project Zero appeared, intent on killing Sato. The two engaged in a fierce battle, and as they fought, Kaito realized that he would never be able to surpass Sato, no matter how hard he tried. Despite his desire to help, Kaito knew that he would only be a burden in the fight.

As the battle raged on, Sato was eventually able to defeat the Project Zero member, but not without sustaining serious injuries. As he lay on the ground, struggling to stay alive, Kaito couldn't help but wonder why their master wasn't there to help.

As Sato lay on the ground, barely clinging to life, he begged Kaito to save him. Kaito, filled with rage and jealousy, went to search the Project Zero member's belongings and found a first aid kit, along with a small notebook. As he read through the pages, he discovered that Sato was the chosen one, destined to be a hero from birth.

In that moment, a spark of hate, anger, jealousy, and deceit ignited within Kaito. He approached Sato, who was still struggling to stay alive, and took the Project Zero member's laying dagger.

"Tell me, what is your last word, old friend?" Kaito asked, as he held Sato's head and repeatedly stabbed him until there was no breath left in him.

As Sato took his final breath, Kaito grinned the darkest and biggest smile he could muster, laughing as loudly as he could.

"If I can't shine as a hero, then I will shine as one of the greatest villains. I will make this world know who I am."

And with that, Kaito's transformation was complete. He had become a villain, consumed by his own jealousy and hatred. But little did he know, his actions would set him on a path that would change the course of history forever
