Demon Castle 4

Byeol flew out of the passageways between the floors. He looked around himself and could tell that this floor was significantly larger than the previous ones.

He was currently in the apocalyptic version of a city, but far away he could see another city. Though the city was different from any and all kinds of cities that he has seen till now.

The city consisted of midieval styled houses and buildings. But what grabbed his attention was the large castle in the middle of the city.

Byeol decided to go there after he has cleared up the demons near his area.

The demons were smart. The demons attacked him in groups, but each group was situated quite far from each other. One group would attract his attention making him go towards them, when the other groups would attack him using long range attacks. And by the time he killed the group that attracted his attention, the other groups seemed to vanish into thin air.

He was once able to see one of the members of the groups breaking a small crystal as they teleported away.

This time he could feel a group of demons entering the field of his energy. That is how they lured him towards them.

But instead of going towards them, he flew away in the exact opposite direction, trying to find any of the other groups.

A few seconds later, he came across a four-person groups. Three of the demons wore a dull-coloured full body armour. They carried weapons such as spears and arrows, weapons that will help them attack him from a large distance.

The last Demon had a more petite figure and wore a vibrant red coloured armour. The Demon unlike the three was sitting on horseback and had a powerful looking spear in its hand.

The four Demons headed towards a tall building from where they could aim properly. The three demons kept on killing every single wild and stray demon that came towards them.

Suddenly all of them looked up towards the sky. They felt an oppressive feeling take over their body. In the skies they saw a person with fiery wings looking down on them.

One of them demons bent forward and jumped up, with a spear in its hand. But halfway upwards its body was cut clean into two pieces by the waist, but that didn't stop the demon as it used it's remaining life to cock it's arm back and throw the spear.

Byeol a little surprised by the resilience of the demon had the spear stab into his wings. But he immediately pulled out the spear and the hole was filled up by the same flames that made up his wings, completely healing them.

One of the other demon picked up his bows and placed a single arrow on it. It pulled the string back and shot out the arrow.

Byeol was about use his sword to cut the arrow, when suddenly he was completely surrounded by arrows. Thousands of arrows were heading towards him, trying to turn him into a pincushion.

Though this might be a problem for others, but for him it was not. With a single swing of his sword, all the arrows burnt up into ashes.

Then he flew right infront of the archer so fast that he seemed to teleport. He killed the archer and turned around to see the third demon holding a crystal and was about to break it. But Byeol used his multiple wings and tore the demon apart.

He looked towards the last Demon who was sitting on the horse. The Demon seemed to shiver a little under his gaze but it quickly boarded off the horse and wielded it's spear.

It spread it's legs and placed its hand behind itself. Byeol widened it's eyes as the aura of the Demon changed drastically. But before he could ponder on it, he shifted his body.

The Demon thrusted it's spear forward, a single thrust, two thrusts, four thrusts, eight thrusts. The number of thrusts kept on increasing exponentially.

Byeol glanced backwards once and saw an entire sector of the city completely destroyed by the attacks of the Demon.

But the Demon still didn't stop as the frequency of the attacks kept on increasing even more.

But the Demon was extremely confused as no matter how much it attacked Byeol, he always dodged it's spear.

Suddenly Byeol disappeared from his place and reappeared infront of the Demon. He lifted his sword and was about to slash down on it.

"Wa-wait! I am S-Sorry!"

Byeol didn't stop his sword but instead of cutting the demon in half, his sword grazed the helmet of the demon.

The helmet disintegrated into small particles revealing the head of the Demon.

It was a girl with yellow coloured skin and long purple hair tied up in braids. Her red eyes looked quite frightened as she looked up towards the Byeol.

AN: WE NEED TO TALK.

1. I didn't abandon this Fic. The problem I had was that I couldn't create a proper reason why Byeol should help the Radiru Clan. I made many drafts but deleted they didn't tickle my fancy.

I mean, if he does spare the Radiru Clan, then why shouldn't he also spare the other Clans? And if he does kill the other clans why doesn't he kill the Radiru Clan?

So, any ideas???

So what makes the Radiru Clan special?

2. I was rereading some of the SCP files and came across something that I had forgotten. The Gate Guardian is powerful but is also quite weak. I mean 05-01 in SCP-001[THE OUROBOROS CYCLE: THE WAY IT ENDS], even while being a normal human he dodged out of the way of the sword of the Gate Guardian and then killed it. DODGED the SWORD and then KILLED IT!!!
