Solo Levelling: Perception

World: - Solo leveling Main heroine: - Sung Jinah Harem: - No **** A guy died and was granted skills and some mission to get reborn in the world where resides his fictional love and so he jumped without hesitation. He was trained to hone his skills and was left in the world of dungeons and monsters where death was as common as a daily sale. Yet, the boy found a way to live his leisurely life with his girl and see this world burn for all it could. ***** A/N: - This is a chill story and I would upload as much time as I get. No promises. There would be centric romance and would only turn harem if I get enough response. Skills would be cliche since I am not a true weeb but know my shit to write some decent fiction. English isn't my first language so expect some mistakes and if you want to criticize, then please make it worth checking. If I get enough responses, I would do a poll for harem members but no Cha Hae-In tho. Sung Jin Woo would die single that way.

Chapter 40- Destructiveness...

Jin-Woo was curious about Haru's potential and to what length the teenager has grown in this brief time when he was away.

Jin-Woo wasn't sure whether Haru had something similar to his system but there was something by now he got assured of.

'Haru's growth isn't limited...'

It would be a lie to say that Jin-Woo wasn't curious about the source of Haru's growing strength but he wasn't going to pry in the matter which could prove to be counterproductive considering how Jin-Woo himself possesses something humanly incomprehensible.

However, they were at the evaluation center Jin-Woo would get the chance to assess Haru's skills and prepare a counter of it just in case. Jin-Woo does trust Haru to the point where he could fight with him in a battle while leaving his back exposed to Haru. But still, call him overly cautious, Jin-Woo wants to be prepared in any one in a million possible scenarios.

"Since mana evaluation of someone above A-rank comes under a single category, we would not be measuring your reserve but rather your skill, Mr. Nanase."

The bespectacled Association official spoke to the young to-be hunter. Beside him, the Chairman, Go Gunhee stood with his arms folded as he silently watched the evaluation.

Two days ago the incident at the A-rank gate cost Haru a heavy sum and also his parents were informed about the criminality. Of course, no legal charges were applied which could have put a black mark on Haru's career from the get-go but if again Haru gets caught breaking the law, he would not be left off with just a warning and a penalty.

'He really is an eager child...or was it just a way to vent his frustration? ' Jin-Woo mused to himself.

He was aware that something happened between Haru and Jinah since the latter didn't come out of her room for the whole day how much Jin-Woo tried taking her out and even during the battle in the dungeon, it seemed Haru seemed a little off.

Jin-Woo wasn't skilled in reading people's distinctive moods but it seems the Ten million worth of penalty Haru paid was because of his impulsive decision.

Regardless, Jin-Woo had also told Haru to be patient for the time being, and fortunately, the boy remained dormant since that day.

"Hmm...well, I can restore people, reattach their body parts, and rebuild their organs. I can't provide a buff to others like a regular healer but can repair a broken mess back to its optimal condition. For example..." As Haru said he slashed his arm and left a deep gash on his chest which made his white shirt crimson within seconds.

"M-Mr. Nanase?"

"Don't worry..." The time it took the evaluator to react Haru already restored himself back to how he was some seconds ago.

'So he can restore nonliving things as well... ' Jin-Woo concluded since not only his wound but Haru also restored the shirt's original color and the fabric was also perfectly fine as well.

"Next, I can use some destructive attacks as well." Jin-Woo was aware of what attack Haru was talking about as he have seen him using that red orb.

Last time, Haru was able to open a hole in a B-ranked boss' abdomen with ease. Now he was uncertain how far Haru has brought that skill of his.

"Then can you show us it on this panel?" As the evaluator said, a black pillar emerged from the ground a short distance away from where they were standing.

The pillar had nothing specific about it however it did seem to be quite tough from its outer texture.

"This Energy calculator would assess the range of your firepower. And don't worry about breaking it since our county's best mage, Master Choi has himself tested the device."

If the 'Ultimate Soldier' has done the testing then surely the pillar was bound to be one hell of a challenge to make a dent on. However, the main purpose was to measure Haru's skill level and that was something everyone in the room was curious about.

Even the two guild masters outside the room were focused on the influx of energy and prepared to have a chat with the two new S-rankers.

Haru made a face of, 'Is that so' before he flicked to lower his glasses as he gazed at the panel.

"Just for safety, please step back a little."

Jin-Woo already had called forth one of the orc's shadows to protect the evaluator since Jin-Woo had some idea of what was about to happen.

Go Gunhee's eyes radiated with excitement and adrenaline coarse across his body as with a smile he also gazed at the young man, curious to know what the youth had in store.

Haru didn't make his audience wait much before he raised both hands in front of his chest. With his left-hand finger standing straight he intervened his right-hand fingers before chanting the most aggressive attack in his arsenal.

"Cursed Technique Amplification: Blue."

"Cursed Technique Reversal: Red."

By now, the amount of mana swirling around Haru made the ground shake and dust fall off different corners of the room. Jin-Woo's senses alerted him that something unnatural was about to happen and so was sensed by the Chairman.

Jin-Woo didn't wait before summoning his strongest soldiers to protect the Chairman and the Evaluator as he also stepped back a little.

'Should we let this happen...?' Jin-Woo couldn't help but ask himself but it was too late to stop Haru as the said person raised his right hand inverted and from the crown of his raised index finger, a small purple violent energy orb emerged.

Unaware of the other five peoples' extreme stupefaction and those who were still out of the building, Haru executed his technique.

"Hollow: Purple."

*****

"Hey, hey! Jinah, look! Haru's picture is all over the media. It seems he was ranked S?!"

Inside the classroom, Song-Yi nearly shouted those words as she showed Jinah the live telecast regarding the newly evacuated S-rankers.

Most of the classmates of the two heard about it either from Song-Yi or from their respective sources. Regardless, they all were astonished to hear that someone from their class was evaluated as S-ranked.

However, as soon as Jinah saw the mobile screen, rather than smiling in elation her eyes widened in shock.

"Why does it say that a massive explosion occurred at the evaluation center?!"

"Now that you say..." Even Song-Yi made a troubled expression signifying that she also had no idea about the news relating to the destruction of the back side of the evaluation center.

Not only were some small blasts but the building was entirely blown from that side and also some portion of the backyard which had no populace was affected as well.

With a frown, Jinah took out her phone when suddenly a familiar voice rang from beside her.

"I have come to collect my reward."

*****

A/N: - And the reward is seggs.

Hahaha....joking...

...or am I?
