"Okay then Jinah. Remember to not exert yourself more than necessary." Jinah nodded to Haru's warning before the latter made some distance from her.
"He meant to say, don't try to act cool." Jin-Woo interpreted with a thin smile on his face—much to Jinah's annoyance.
Cha Hae-In looked at the duo with a troubled expression; unsure what to say. In the end, she remained silent since interfering between the siblings didn't feel right.
Jin-Woo walked back to Hae-In side as he asked her, "You sure aren't tired right? We can go home anytime you want."
Last night, Jin-Woo kept her awake until a little too late...that's why he didn't wake her up in the morning when he got the news of Haru's recovery. And after Cha Hae-In got the news she traveled to Japan instantly and has been moving all day long.
In response to his concern, Cha Hae-In smiled faintly—feeling a warm sensation spreading across her chest. Initially, she was interested in him because of his scent. Got attracted to him because of strength and looks. And soon she was completely head over heels once she got to know him as a person.
He is just too sweet and considerate.
Holding his hand shyly she shook her head and assured him, "I am fine. Rather, I felt more than fine this whole day. Being with your family and getting accepted by everyone...it was a nice feeling."
Jin-Woo's lips curved in a soft smile as he used his free hand to tuck her hair strand behind her small ear, as some words left his lips,
"It's not 'your family' any more. It should be 'our family'."
Hae-In eyes slightly widened and a faint crimson shade brightened her fluffy cheeks. Her heart was skipping in beats as she understood the meaning of his words.
Jin-Woo enjoyed the reaction of his girlfriend before he looked back toward his sister.
....only to find his eyes widening.
"Jinah? When did you learn to create triple layers?" Jin-Woo couldn't help asking his sister, who currently was defending herself against the flames Haru was directing at her, with three greenish cyan-shade shields protecting her.
Jinah didn't show any sign of exhaustion as she flashed a proud smile at her Oppa.
"Just learned recently. No big deal." Jinah said with a grin as she remained standing with a few feet gap between her feet.
Jin-Woo could tell that the ferocity of the flame was akin to how much Tusk could produce without the Orb of Avarice.
"I will be back." Jin-Woo told Hae-In before he disappeared in a flash and appeared just beside Haru.
"I never knew you had an elemental spell."
Haru, who seemed far from being anywhere exhausted shrugged.
Using his other hand, he produced a small water cyclone, a rock pillar and a small tornado over his palm, before speaking,
"I can create any spell I wish to. But well that's not anywhere as interesting as what Jinah is showcasing right now."
Jin-Woo smiled wryly. What Haru said was nothing but mind-wobbling and nearly impossible to replicate. To create any type of magic according to one's will...indeed something to admire and feel envious of.
However, Haru was not even a little bit interested in his own newfound powers as much as he seemed intrigued toward the results Jinah was displaying. Haru's eyes sparkled with joy and awe as he watched Jinah protecting herself with the three-layered shield.
Jin-Woo decided to stop thinking about it, and asked Haru, "What level have you pushed her to?"
"Semi-S? Well, I can go higher but it's not worth taking the chance." Leaning a little toward Jin-Woo, Haru whispered, "But don't tell Jinah that I didn't go all out."
Jin-Woo shook his head helplessly. What immortal being? Haru is still the same boy Jin-Woo know.
Soon the flames subdued and Jinah also lowered her shields. Her face was a little pale but she didn't look tired at all. Although she has reached S-rank at a dramatic pace, it would take some time for her to get accustomed with utilizing so much mana.
Soon the four gathered around again as Haru uttered with a smiling voice, "You did great. Your learning speed is something I can never compare to."
"Indeed. Jinah has a bright potential with magic." Pausing for a moment, Cha Hae-In looked at Jin-Woo before adding, "If she had awakened even three years ago, then surely she could have gotten her name included in one of the top support type hunters."
Jin-Woo shrugged, "Given how lazy she always remains at home, I doubt that."
Jinah punched her brother on the arm....only to wince in pain, "...why you have to be so mean, Oppa?"
Haru held Jinah's slightly reddend hand and healed her, as she complained to her brother.
Suddenly, Jinah thought about something and asked her lover, "By the way, Haru, how long will it take for you to defeat Oppa?"
Jin-Woo raised his brows hearing that, "Aren't you underestimating your brother a little too much, Jinah?"
Jinah stuck her tongue out and didn't show any sign of taking her statement back.
Cha Hae-In tilted her head before asking, "Have you both ever fought seriously before?" As a hunter and a warrior, Cha Hae-In was naturally intrigued to know about what would be the result of the battle between two of the strongest hunters she knows.
Jin-Woo didn't have to think for long before he responded, "As far as I remember, no. We haven't even sparred, right?"
"Mm-hmm. Never had the opportunity."
Jinah suggested, "Then why not today? I wanna see you fight once again."
"Once again?" Jin-Woo asked.
"Ah, yeah. During our first date a dungeon appeared and all."
Jin-Woo nodded as he remembered about what happened at that time.
Soon the group of four fell silent. Jinah was still looking at Haru and Jin-Woo alternatively with a huge smile. Cha Hae-In also seemed a little expectant.
Jin-Woo glanced at Haru suggestively, only for the latter to say, "Well...."
Jin-Woo shrugged, "I don't mind. What do you say?"
Haru was about to respond...however, all he let out was a sigh, as someone interrupted them,
"I, as a guardian of this world, highly recommend reconsidering your decision."
The four of them turned to look at the blond British man walking in their direction with steady strides and despite how much he tried to mask it, it was evident that the man was apprehensive.
A Ruler has descended to human realm, once again.
