Chapter 42 The Relationship
Allison POV
Alex had purchased several different tickets for me. Their destinations were arranged in an irregular pattern on the map.
Alex proudly said that he had drawn it by lot, so no matter how Damien tried to figure out where we would go when he found those tickets, he would fail.
Then he bought a couple of cruise tickets from different parts of the U.S. coastline. They also went to different destinations. Then he gave me the choice.
From it, I drew a ticket to Iceland.
"Did you know that some people call Iceland the end of the world, Allison?" Alex smiled in surprise after I drew this ticket.
"It's almost as if it's hinting that we'll elope to the end of the world. I like the moral of going against the entire world."
Alex said something so innocent that I didn't know how to respond.
