The Good News

"Wha--What happened to Papa?!" Athanasia asked Lucas when she saw her Papa Claude lying on his bed. 'What happened to my Papa?' Athanasia thought

"He's only sleeping. Actually, I made him asleep"

"Why?!" Athanasia fiercely to Lucas.

"Because it is necessary. Calm down My Princess, I'll explain it to you later. I have something to tell you" Lucas replied in a bored tone.

It's been an hour since he and Diana brought the Emperor home, and as expected, Athanasia began to asks questions about her father.

'Yes, her father... Again' Lucas thought

"What is it?"

"About the man who looks like your Father"

'A man who looks like Claude?' Athanasia thought. An image of a familiar man appeared on her mind, she suddenly took a glance at Lucas' hair. 'The man with the black coloured hair... '

"What about it?" She asked.

"I said I'll tell you later. I will also give you a piece of good news about your father's condition"

"Really?! That's new! Are you sure about it? Can you already fix Papa?"  Athanasia excitedly asked. 'I know I'm hoping for it too much... But can you blame me? I want my papa to be fixed already... "

"You're too optimistic, I'll discuss it with you later."

"Fine! Anyway, where's Mama? I haven't seen her yet"

"Oh... About that... "

"Lady Diana, Is there something bothering you?" Lily asked Diana.

The maid noticed her Lady having a deep thought.

"Nothing, just thinking about the incident that happened while we're in Siodonna" Diana replied while combing her long golden hair.

"Lily... May I ask you a question?"

"What is it, My Lady?"

Diana stopped combing her hair as she places the golden comb on a small table. "What is the exact relationship between the past me and Claude?"

Lilian glanced at her lady with wide eyes.   "Is there any possibility that you have regained your past life's memory, My Lady?"

"Oh! No, no, no! I'm just curious" Diana immediately replied. She cleared her throat while trying to gain her composure. "Did I become his fling?"

"MY LADY?!" Lily reacted.

"Eh? No? How come did he get me pregnant? Is Athanasia an accidental child?"

"!!!"

'Come on, just answer me. Even though I am the writer of 'The Lovely Princess' I have no idea what's the relationship between Diana and Claude' Diana thought.

"M-my Lady! Don't be silly! I don't know if I am allowed to say this but I think you and His Majesty did have a deep relationship"

'Deep Relationship?'

"Lily... "

"Yes, My Lady?"

"I see. Can you do my hair? Can you use pink roses as a decoration?" Diana asked Lily.

"My pleasure Lady Diana"

'Deep Relationship huh? '

"She's with the maid who raised you. Probably asking her about the relationship between her past self and your Father." Lucas explained to Athanasia.

"What? Wait--- did something happened while you're in Siodonna?" Athanasia grabbed Lucas' clothes and pulled him closer to her.

"W-wait! Y-you aren't supposed to do that." Lucas replied nervously. He tried to get away from Athy's gripping hand but he failed. "Damn it, You're too close"

"Tell me!"

"Alright! But first! let me go!" Lucas complained. Athanasia quickly let him go " Are you really a princess? You aren't graceful at all"

The Princess gave him a deathly glare that made him flinch. "Fine, I yield! You won, Princess"

Lucas heaves out a deep sigh and before Athanasia could react about it, an atmosphere of seriousness suddenly filled the surroundings.

"Did that chimera still visiting your father?" Lucas suddenly asked.

"Yes, but not frequently, unlike the past few weeks. The last time she was invited by my papa was three days ago."

"Good"

"Good? Why?"

"Because, with or without that Chimera, we can minimize the pain of your father's curse." Lucas explained to Athy "That  was my good news for you, Princess"

"What did say?"

"Fortunately, Your mother's reincarnation can somehow affect your father's condition but unlike the effect of that Chimera's mana to your father, your mother's effect is way better. Anyway, tho Lady Diana can help us in some ways  that does not mean that it was the cure"

"It seems like bringing your mother here is a good choice. Less burden more chance of fixing your father"

"Are you saying that with my Mama's help we can make Papa's condition better? How? How did you know? Why?"

"I don't know how or why but I noticed it while they were having some lovey-dovey moments on Siodonna while making me wait," Lucas said while reminiscing that scene. 'How dare them made me wait?' He thought

"But I have a hunch that it's because Lady Diana was the reason for the Emperor to use black magic"

'How did you...' Athanasia, with wide eyes, didn't know how to react.

"Right, Princess?"

"I... Don't know"

"That hunch was made when Lady Diana left me with your father to stroll around."

"Wait, My Mama did what?"

"Left me with your father," He said. 'Anyway, I've decided not to inform her about the 'father' thingy'

"But that's not the main point here, Princess. I never thought that your father is that 'clever to point out that I am that 'Young Warlock' I underestimated him. I wasn't careful so... I made him asleep"

'Lucas? Wasn't that careful? The Black-Tower-Magician? Don't fool me. I may not know how powerful you are, but I know what you're capable of..." Athanasia thought while making some faces.

"Originally, I was planning to alter his memory about that moment, but I've decided not to..."

"Why?" Athanasia asked.

"It's because we don't need to hide the fact that your mother came back to Siodonna. How long were you planning to hide your mother? Until it was too late?" Lucas said. "Remember that your mother was not a part of this world anymore. Be grateful that I've decided to bring her here"

"I know... And I'm grateful... I'm thankful because I was able to meet my Mama. I'm sincerely thankful to you Lucas---"

"DAMN YOU LITTLE RASCAL!" The conversation between the two was suddenly interrupted when a Golden- haired-beast woke up from a slumber emitting a dangerous aura around his body.

Yes, It was Claude.

"P-PAPA?!" Athanasia gasped in shock. She quickly tried to hid Lucas behind her back while silently cursing in a different language.

Lucas who was pleased with what is currently happening smirked at the angry Emperor.

"DON'T HIDE THAT RASCAL BEHIND YOUR BACK!" Claude angrily said.

'What did Lucas do to make my Daddy this Angry?!' Athanasia thought.

"Papa! Calm down it's not--"

"Hey, you" Lucas interrupted Athy. He silently grabbed Athanasia's hand while showing his smug face to the Emperor.

"You bastard! What are you doing?!" Athanasia asked him in a small voice. "Don't make him angrier!"

"Calm down, I'll just Alter his memory later" Lucas calmly replied to Athanasia before turning his head to Claude.

"Hey, You know her Identity right?" Lucas asked Claude, meaningfully.

Claude froze when he heard what the young warlock said to him. "If you keep on denying that to yourself..." Lucas paused.

"You might lose her Twice."

"What do you..."

"So instead of trying to attack me now. Why don't you find her at the princess' palace."

"LUCAS! What are you...? Papa Claude--"

Before Athanasia could finish her sentences. Lucas and Athanasia suddenly disappeared from that room. Lucas used teleportation with Athy to escape the supposed-to-be-rage of the Emperor...

While Claude himself was left frozen in his room, trying to realize what the 'Young Warlock' told him.

"That's..." He whispered. Then the image of a woman in midnight coloured hair appeared on his mind. "...Diana..."
