"Umi,Mia has been kidnapped."

"What!?"l jumped out of my bed and started pacing around the room as Hiro sat down calmly.

"How? Who? When?"

"Calm down for a bit,Umi."

"How can l calm down when Mia has been kidnapped,by l don't know who?"

"Freaking out wont change our problems."

l let out a heavy sigh and sat down next to him.

"We still don't know who took her but.."

"But what?"

He let out a heavy sigh before continuing

"They actually sent me a message through her phone."

"What did they say?"

"They will gladly let her go on two conditions." He looked straight at me "first l don't tell anyone that am going there and second...you have to come with me."

"And your gonna follow their rules like a puppet?"l asked with a slight of irritation in my voice.

"l don't know yet.."With that he fell backwards in my bed as he looked at the ceiling.

l could feel how disturbed he was with the situation even if he wore a calm mask on his face.l couldn't get mad at him at this decisive moment l had to find a way to rescue Mia.

Downstairs was more chaotic than ever.Aunt and Uncle were much worried about the situation.l understood them,who couldn't worry about their one and only cherished child.

The piercing in my heart grew l couldn't take,l barged in Hiro's room unwelcomed and took him by the collar.
