Three days after freeing the lady in black, we have an ambush spot prepared for the turtle with siege weaponry.
We want to take care of the turtle before he notices the army. If he notices of us and sends his familiars, he can probably take over most of the army and massive casualties will occur.
We see it slowly stomp its way into the trap set up in the canyon. When it gets close, we unleash hell upon it. The biggest contributor is Sophia with her heavy earth magic arrows that can penetrate its shell all the way to the other side.
When it notices the danger it's in it opens its mouth before charging a fucking laser beam and shooting it right at Sophia. This pisses me off to no end because no one touches my murder floof.
I stand in front of Sophia ready to take the beam of magic head on and use one of my wishes for the very first time. I call it magic storing. I hold out my hand to suck in the attack while everyone else is thinking I won't survive the attack. I proved them wrong by coming out completely unscathed.
I use the other feature of this ability to embody the magic I stored and become a fucking beam that flies at the turtle and cuts off his head at the speed of light. HA! Teach him not to mess with this sneaky snake's murder floof.
Everyone is stunned until the queen asks shield hero to join up with me and explore the turtle for the idiot duo they lost sight of a while ago.
I head up the mountain with shield hero's party to the village on it. It's a horrible sight because there are no intact bodies of the villagers.
I walk into one of the houses before my instincts kick in telling me about the idiots which I'm getting sick of hearing about. I sigh, grab shield hero's attention, and start leading him into the turtle that just started getting back up after having its head cut off. I cast a spell to turn the surrounding earth into enchanted chains that will keep the turtle from moving from the area, while casting a domain type spell that will cause mass confusion among the familiars so they attack each other.
We make it through twists and turns of cavernous insides that feel like we are walking on flesh, which we are, before finding some people in disguise. I break the disguise to reveal the adventurer couple and fan girl from another world. I tell them to follow which they do without much complaint because they can see the irritation on my face from having to clean up the idiots' mess.
I lead everybody down more twists and turns before walking into a dead end that makes everyone confused. I change my gauntlets into their fiery form and punch a hole through the ground and let the concentrated flames burn a path right to the heart of the turtle. We jump in quickly as the hole already starts regenerating.
We fall a relatively short distance before landing in the room that houses the heart. My tail lands on a fucking prick with a book that I can sense is a legendary weapon from the other world. This cunt is the one that has been messing with the turtle and causing it to go out of control.
Before anyone can say anything, I synthesize the book and break the connection he had with it. I chuck the book in the library section of the gate before looking around the room and finding tweedle dee and tweedle dum. They're stuck in some big crystal that glows with power.
Shield hero looks over at me and asks, "What should we do with those two?", and I answer him by synthesizing their legendary weapons from them and creating some wooden farming tools before synthesizing the tools too them so their soul bound and can't be removed.
"We get them out of there and get them to a farm.", I tell him while storing the weapons in the gate. I synthesize the crystal and extract the idiots from it before stuffing the crystal in the gate. Now that the idiots causing problems are dealt with, I need to kill the turtle without it coming back to life.
"If you destroy the heart it won't be able to come back.", lady in black helpfully informs. I want to kill it without damaging it to much because restoring it before storing it in the gate would take a lot of time and effort and I want to go to bed after the turtle is dead. It's been a long day.
I put my gauntlets on and shift them to the lightning form for a good old case of cardiac arrest. I bring out some conductive silver threads from the gate because I want to try something with my gauntlets.
I tie the threads around a silver harpoon and use synthesis to make a skewer with some line for retracting. Finally, I put the harpoon above the gem on my left gauntlet and watch as it gets sucked into it and both gauntlets shift into a kind of grappling hook form that would be super fun to get around with in a big city with tall skyscrapers. I'll remember this form for when I visit a modern world.
Sadly, it didn't work as I thought it would. I was trying to have the forms mix so I could grapple both sides of the heart and electrocute it from both ends. Wait, mixing the forms! I never said that they shouldn't be able to, so the monstrosity probably made it a feature to take more karma from me. Thanks, you fugly freak!
I focus on the gauntlets and try to do the form changing manually. I imagine taking out the lightning form in a type of cartridge that has the information needed to transform and imagine it inserting into the crystal on the gauntlets while keeping the grappling hook cartridge still in the crystal. There's a bright flash and a notification that I've unlocked the mod mixing option for my gauntlets. So, their called mods, noted.
I look down at my handy work and see the color scheme for the lightning mod running up a dangerous looking barbed spear ready to be fired at a moments notice. Everyone is shocked. They watch me fire the spears into opposite sides of the heart and, with a crackle of lightning, fry it beyond repair.
The room starts rumbling because the turtle probably felt his heart stop, before it starts slowing down and then stops altogether.
We walk out of the turtle with shield hero making small successes in mixing his different mods with the shield, he says this is the best he can do because there is a substantial drain on his energy when mixing mods. I did notice a slight drain, but it was probably drawing from the oceans of energy I had and not making any difference considering how fast they recover.
The otherworldly trio apologize for what one of their own did when there was no need to fight anymore. He probably wanted to take the waves end as an opportunity for taking over this world and was shut down before he could make any stupid monologues about his plan. I just wave them off saying that I already got payment in the form of his legendary book.
They ask since the waves are about to end and their weapons would be too dangerous in their world if I want to remove it like I did with the idiot duo. I tell them I will after the waves are over because they shouldn't let them go until the very end, never know what could happen.
After we separate and they head back to their home with magical girl waving her staff, I restore the corpse of the turtle and open a gate under it to for later use. I noticed that it got stronger after it revived, so I will look into necromancy and try to create an artificial soul so that I can bring it back without any of the negative side effects of being undead. Those only happen when you go against the natural order to bring a soul back from its next incarnation.
