The Miracle of Fubao: A Family Reunion
The scene unfolded as Li Chengyuan and Lin Yanfen, Fu Bao's parents, approached. Upon spotting them, Li Xiaolei, Fu Bao's brother, jumped up with joy, exclaiming, "Dad, Mom!"
Fu Bao, too, rose from her spot and softly called out, "Dad, Mom!"
Witnessing their arrival, Li Chengyuan quickened his pace, setting down the bag he carried and scooping Fu Bao into his arms. He showered her with kisses, grinning widely. "My darling, Dad missed you so much! Did you miss Dad?"
Though Fu Bao felt a bit weary of her father's repeated question every time he returned, she still replied with a smile, "Of course, Dad, I missed you the most!"
Lin Yanfen, feeling a tad neglected, chimed in with a hint of playfulness, "What about Mom, sweetie? Doesn't Mom get missed too? Mom's feelings are hurt."
Quick to correct herself, Fu Bao assured, "No, no, I missed Mom a lot too, especially!"
With a knowing smile, Lin Yanfen nudged Li Chengyuan and teased, "Let me hold her!"
