House and Harvest

The next two days, we had to work nonstop to make a fine house.

At first, I changed my tool into an axe and started clearing up the surrounding. It also provided me some woods.

Our second step is to make foundation. I used my tool to shape my bamboo and wood to pillars and beams. The orcs digged holes and place the pillars securely into the ground to create the foundation of the house.

Our third step is to framework.

Using the shape-changing tool, I turned it into a saw to cut the wood and bamboo into various lengths. The orcs then followed my instructions to create the framework of the house, using the cut pieces to form walls, floors, and a roof.

Our next step was Walls and Roofs.

I reshaped my tool into a hammer, allowing the orcs to nail the wooden and bamboo pieces together to build the walls and roof. The bamboo was used for walls, while the wood was used for the roof structure.

Our next step was Flooring.

I transformed my tool into a chisel to help the orcs smooth out the bamboo pieces for the flooring. We placed the bamboo sections tightly together to create a solid and stable floor.

With this, we have completed our house.

It was still my first time making a house so, I did make some mistakes. Well, that's why it took this much time to create this house.

Now that I think about it, it's not much of a big house. It contains two bedroom, one living room, one kitchen. Yeah, that's all.

I haven't made a bath, because we normally bath in the nearby river. About the toilet, I made a separate toilet a bit far from the house. I don't want the smell of poop to disturb me while eating.

After completing a house, I understood that we also need furnitures. We worked hard and prepared some necessary furniture like bed, chair, table etc.

Regarding the tool I used throughout my whole house making journey:

Axe: used it to cut down trees and clear the area quickly.

Saw: It helps in cutting wood and bamboo into precise lengths for the framework.

Hammer: Used for nailing the wooden and bamboo pieces together.

Chisel: Ideal for smoothing out the bamboo flooring or carving intricate designs.

While preparing the house, Tsuki and her team hunted a lot of monsters. We enjoyed those monster meats thoroughly.

After completing my house, I noticed few things. Orcs usually lives outside. I kinda started to feel bad for them. So, I ordered Wogg and his team to prepare few log house for them.

Their house will be a bit further from mine. They also started to work on a house where Tsuki will live. So, with this, Wogg and his team had a handful amounts to works to do. They became busy.

Tsuki and her team as usually concentrated on hunting and I was a bit free.

Well, I do have works to do. I don't like eating only meats. I want to eat something cooked. I need rice.

So, I started my next job. It's to prepare some field.

I prepared some field and used my Ultimate Skill - Bountiful Harvest. I used this skill to prepare some crops. According to the system, I don't need seed. By using my ultimate skill, I can grow any plants I want just by imagining. So, I imagined growing rice in the field. I also imagined some vegetables while preparing one side of the field.

I can make it grow within one days. But according to the system, I should at least wait one week to grow it. It will make crops more nutritious and it will ensure a good quality.

So, I followed system's instructions to prepare field and grow crops while using my skills and it worked.

One week later, I found my field blooming with rice and other vegetables. It was the first time I have cried by seeing rice and vegetables. I have never thought that I would ever cry over something like that. I got emotional by seeing my hard work paying off.

"They did really grow up hurry." Tsuki came and spoke with astonished face.

"Hum, I have used my skill after all." I proudly replied.

"Your hard work paid off, my lord."

"Thank you, Tsuki. Now that it's already harvested. We should have a party." I excitedly said.

"Party? Why? Besides, it's not like we need to eat something. It would be a total waste."

"I do understand that. But only I and rir are eating here. It's kinda feel like strange. If we have food, I want all of you guys to enjoy it. People eats foods not only to gain strength but also to enjoy the taste of fresh foods. Besides, food tastes well while eating with everyone." I tried to convince her.

She looked surprised and then she smiled a bit.

"Looks like, I was only being realistic. Okay, as my lord wish. We will throw a party where everyone will enjoy your tasty foods." Tsuki agreed.

"Yesssss..." I rejoiced.

"Kyuuuu kyuuyuyuun?" Rir came with sleepy eyes. She asked her mother something.

"It's because we will have a party tonight. Ray-sama said that we will have some delicious food." Tsuki replied with a smile.

Hearing that, Rir happily rejoiced.

"Kyu kyu.. Kyuyuyuyuyu... Kyuuuuuu."

She began to dance. It's as if she is happy that she will have more delicious food. Well, don't get too hoped up, Rir. I will get embarrassed if it doesn't tastes good to you guys. I know that monsters like them eats raw meats frequently. She was enjoying the meat I prepared. But I don't know something like rice. I used to eat rice as I was from a country where people generally consume rice in a higher rate. So, to me, rice is like a life.

But, I guess, it's alright. I have vegetable, meats and rice after all.

That night, we had a lot fun. Everyone enjoyed eating after a long time. I was able to eat something after a long time. It wasn't tasty compared to the foods I used to eat in my previous life. But I did enjoyed it. After all, I ate something normal after ten days.
