Infinite vs Immortal

Gate Of Babylon, was one of the many great Noble Phantasm of the King of Uruk, Gilgamesh. His notable legend stated him to be the king who spread the wisdom of great weapons and technology around the world.

As most weapons were just the copies of his original noble phantasms, he himself gained the benefits of being the master of all human made technology as well. Even if the said technology came from an entirely different timeline like the present era or past era, he could utilize all of them.

Therefore, it was right to say that his Gate Of Babylon possessed finitely higher number of noble phantasms, which was infinite or undefined in terms of normal numerical values.

However, this was a small part of his original legend in the Mesopotamian mythology.

Supply of mana from a master of the True Magic user had uplifted the status of his own Noble Phantasm as well. Rather than just shooting the legendary items of great mystery from his portals, now it could also summon staves, wands and talismans which could amplify the already strong enough phantasms to a whole new level.

At first, Gilgamesh was confident on his power, but now he was assured of his victory over the skeletal abomination in front of him.

The said skeleton was now flying away from him at a great speed. Possibly afraid of the new enemy servant who found his secret spot.

"Well, he can hide if he want, but this time..." Gilgamesh paused and took out his Vimana from his treasury and continued, "... I will give him the pain that he had never felt before!"

He stared at the nearby car, hidden beneath the scraps of metals, there was a woman who would be sacrificed to become the vessel of this Holy Grail War. He needed that woman for his last part of the plan.

(Scene Change : Ainz POV)

Flying above the Pacific Ocean, the ruler of Nazarick looked back to see his attacker. But so far, nothing appeared.

"I don't know what he is planning, but I must fly far away from the Japan."

His reason for flying over the Pacific Ocean was pretty simple.

Over the Pacific Ocean, there were not much prying eyes who dared to watch his magic. Flying magecraft was nearly non-existent in this era, so the chances of him being followed by the magi was also very low.

The number of onlookers were technically small and he could use magic without being watched by the Church as well. After all, the 4th Holy Grail War was still going on and he was not fond of leaving the war at this point.

He had come so far into this war and now another servant came to put problems over him, this was also a part of his plan.

Assuming the possibility of a powerful servant, Ainz had amassed great deal of knowledge of every servant before this war even began, he had plans to deal with every servant in every possible way he could.

For that reason, he came here to let his trap work upon him.

"Be ready!"

He spoke the Ocean below him and started to cast various spells upon himself.

"[Body of Efflugent Beryl], [Reverse Scrying], [Bless of Magic Caster], [Infinity Wall], [Pridmatic Protection], [Veil of Moon], [Heavenly Aura], [Magic Ward: Holy], [Protection from Arrows], [Protection from Missiles], [Tether Essence], [Sensor Boost], [Draconic Power], [Greater Mana Accumulation], [Feign Death], [Delay Teleportation], [Delay Dispel], [Delay Damage], [Delay Counter], [True Sight], [True Discernment], [Phoenix Flame], [Elemental Form], [Aspect of Storm], [Greater Counterspell], [Drifting Master Mine], [Greater Magic Seal : Magic Seal], [Time Resonance], [Mantle of Chaos], [Paranormal Intuition], [Life Essence], [Mana Essence], [Greater Magic Resistance], [Greater Energy Protection : Positive], [Greater Full Potential], [Greater Hardening], [Penetrate Up], ...."

And mire more spells started to activate upon him. Buffed with multiple spells of his arsenal, he waited for his adversary.

"All of you, stay ready!"

He gave the mental commands to all three of the Primal Elementals around him. While he was making traps around this planet, Ainz found out the unique aspect of Primal Elementals here.

In this world, the elemental spirits were far more stronger than Heroic Spirits and Divine Spirits in terms reliability and power. It was like they had become the very new organs for the planet itself.

Therefore, even if he put the Primordial Elementals in the ocean or in the clouds, it would not be any different than putting a drop of water or a force of wind as the part of nature, and so they were inable to die as well.

"This world has a lot of nepotism over certain beings. Rather than the power, the oldest being will remain the strongest entity here. Thank goodness, those Dragon Lords are not here, or else."

Ainz could imagine just how overpowered a dragon would become if he or she lived in such a world.

Suddenly, his Clairvoyance spell ringed that the enemy servant was already here. And so he began the first part of the plan.

"Start."

With that command alone, the clouds started to form upon the entire Pacific Ocean, like a huge storm was brewing over the biggest ocean of the world. The nearby islands and island countries felt the disturbance in the wind speed as well.

The water level was rising and falling like an earthquake was producing it. The ships and other boats went to the shore as they felt the presence of a massive storm upon the entire ocean's water surface.

The golden armored hero had finally arrived upon his divine mount Vimana, alongwith a white haired woman who looked unconscious for some reason. Confusing Ainz even more than the he originally was. He had never thought of watching a high tech looking vehicle by a heroic spirit.

He noted to self that once he finished this war, he would find a History professor and to learn as much as he could.

'This world really has a lot of surprises.'

"Hmm, how interesting. To think that you can control the primordial aspects of nature itself and even command them with no magical supply, you are indeed impressive."

It was not a sarcasm from Gilgamesh, he was indeed impressed of Ainz and his control over the elements to the point where he could command them.

Only some extremely powerful entities like the Ancient Gods of 5 great human civilizations and the Planet Earth could control the Primal Elementals.

However, Ainz had other plans for him too.

"Thank for the complement, O Great King of Uruk. To hear the words of appreciation out of you, makes me really glad."

Ainz gave him a sincere bow for the appreciation. It was not him being arrogant of himself, but a genuine thanks from Ainz. Even though his plan was to draw enough time for his servant to end his battle with the Saber, he was still a king, a leader of world spreading country.

"But, I know that you are not here to just appreciate me, right?"

"Indeed. I am here for your death. Your complete death, especially of your lichdom."

"Hmm, so you are also a xenophobic towards my kind as well."

"No. Not really. To be specific, your death can be helpful to both this planet and mankind until the next geologic activity."

"What?!"

Ainz exclaimed in surprise. But before he could ask further, the barrage of Noble Phantasms stopped him from talking.

Many portals opened, each blazing away the darkness over the cloudy ocean like thousands of stars had filled the entire ocean surface itself.

Weapons of many shapes and sizes launched upon Ainz at a sound breaking speed. Each held the power of their own, the specialty to deal with the unique adversaries at the time of battle and finally the momentum of theirs which made them even more devastating at contact with their intended target.

However, Ainz was not a fool himself as well, as he used teleportation of 5th tier to teleport around.

While 7th tier teleportation magic gave him the coverage of indefinite distance, 5th tier teleportation was limited over a specific area. Not that he minded the spell, it was good enough as well.

His protection spells against projectile damage and other types of elemental attacks or special attacks gave him some relief in the overall battle of this entire barrage of attacks.

However, Gilgamesh seemed bored while doing this, as he yawned in boredom.

"It seems that you are not going to show your powers now, may be you need more push than this?"

He smirked as he opened the portals all over the oceans. He had a specific Noble Phantasm, a wand that granted the homing effect as long as the holder of the wand was supplying enough Mana into it.
