Sabrina looked up from the pile of rocks she had been packing; the sun was beating down harshly on her now; her skin was red from sunburn, and her hair was already getting bleached.
She raised the canteen of water that had been gifted to her by one of the men to her mouth, ever since her encounter with Jamal the other day, the men had been nice to her and because Marco had gone on the trip with Jamal, another person had taken over the mine, he is part of Jamal's security personnel too, but he is much more indifferent to her, and she doesn't feel guilty looking at him, like she does with Marco.
The last two nights had been absolute torture for her, she had always gone to sleep early, not coming out of her room. The other two roommates left her alone, too. Carly had always been the one to bring her food, and she was most grateful to the girl.
