Author had held Mara's hand and tried to activate the bonding spell but after the while the system gave him a disturbing message.

The system had rejected Mara stating that she could not be marked. And that was all the system said. It did not explain anything else.

Both Author and Mara were disappointed but Author decided to check out his ability wich was based on crafting items.

He wanted to make something for Mara so he asked her what weapon she was best at. Mara did not waste any minute as she told Author that she could fight best with two short swords.

She never knew why Author was asking this. Was it that Author wanted to go get her a new pair of short swords from the black smith?

But Author had his plans. Author thought of the best way to craft a weapon for Mara and when he presented it to the system, it required more magic points than the one he currently had, so he promised Mara he will get her a good pair of short swords one day.

Author left Mara and went to his room wich he had not visited for a very long time. He went in and saw that everything was still how he left them.

He sat down on his bed and took in a deep breath. Author was feeling great for having such a system.

' Thank you dad for this, your sacrifice will not go in vain.'

When Author said this in his mind, he thought there would be a voice to reply but the system was silent.

' Dad? Where are you? please reply me I want to ask you some questions.'

(( My job was to guide you till you had all the fragments of the crystal, now I must go. But before I go I will tell you a few things and answer three of your questions.

Now that you have gotten the system, it is left for you to do what I failed to do. You must save the world from the shadow god and to do so you will need the help of an army.

The shadow god and it's agents have already built a very large army and they keep expanding it everyday.

What you need to do is go to a secret world where witches and wizards live and tell them you came in the name of the Great Wizard Tobias Pen Shadow, to demand an army.

This world is called Covenwood. It is a hidden world, so you can find it if only you have the eye of wisdom.

Now I can answer only three of your questions.))

' Just three?'

(( Is that your first question?))

' Wait no. My first is; who is the shadow god and what is his mission?'

(( Those are two questions wich one do I answer?))

' What is the mission of the shadow god?'

(( There are two types of gods spreads over the galaxies. The Alpha gods wich are out to spread good and the Demons who are out to spread evil.

This happens so that they can keep the balance of the world where there is good and evil.

I was supposed to defeat this god long ago when he just arised, but he came at a very bad time. He saw that I had fallen in love and he used that against me to defeat me.

The good is meant to conquer evil so you should get ready.

' How do I get the eye of wisdom?'

(( The eye of wisdom comes from a Divine beast wich is said to be above the demon tier level. In the whole of history no one could guage it's level.

Only few lucky powerful people had defeated it when it was at it's weakest state. So you must search for one and defeat it to get the eye.

This beast cannot be seen on this planet, you must travel to other planets to find one.

Now ask me your last question so that I could be freed.))

Author thought for a while picking up different questions and weighing them, to know wich will be the best question to ask next.

After a while Author asked his final question.

' What type of person was my father?'

(( Hmmm.. I did not expect this question. I was strong, I had a strong will, nothing I started wich I didn't want to finish.

I spent years practicing 1000 different spells from nine different types of magics and mastered them.

I had traveled to different realms, dimensions and planets to get that strong. And you should know I started as a weak boy just like you. So you must surpasse me.

The king of Covenwood was a friend of mine but I was at higher position than him. I was called The Great Wizard because the king was supposed to take advice from me and I had the power to punish kings and others, and to change his decisions.

I think that is all I will love to share.

' Wait I have another question... dad, daaad!

Just when I was starting to enjoy your company, I loose you once more.'

At this point tears were flowing down Author's cheeks and he wrapped himself on his bed like a baby, thinking of all the people he loved, wich he had lost.

After a while, Author became sobber and he decided to step outside of his room. As he was going down the stairs, he heard noises coming from one of the rooms wich was located in another section of the castle, wich was kind of hidden like it was a secret room.

It was pretty far away but with Author's sharp ears, he could hear the noise coming from the room.

It sounded like someone hitting chains against the wall and after some time the noise would stop and Author could hear a man's voice saying radom things like a mad man.

Author decided to head over the room.

He climbed down the stairs and headed into a dark corridor before taking a bend wich led to another corridor. This corridor had steps heading downwards to an underground room.

Author arrived infront of a locked door and there he could hear the noise the louder and clearer.

Author tried to open the door but it wasn't opening. As his hands touched the door, the system sent a message.

(( A Puzzle lock has been detected, do you wish for it to be solved?))

' Yes'

The before Author oppened up after a few clicks wich he assumed was the system solving the puzzle.

Author stepped in and saw what looked like a huge hall of empty prison cells. Author headed to one of the cells where the noise was coming from.

As Author reached infront of the cell, the noise coming from it stopped.

Author looked in and saw a man whose body did not look like a human. His body was large abnormally and dark fur could be seen on his body. He had long fangs and a strange eye color wich glowed a mix of green and yellow.

The man had cuffs around his hands but it was on the verge of breaking as the man's hand had gotten too big for the cuffs.
