Skyrim: The Snow Prince (an Elder Scrolls Fanfic)

Akatosh, also known as Aur-I-El the Falmer God, and Dragon God of Time; felt a disturbance in the veil of Atherius and Mundus. After inspecting this Space-Time anomoly he found a Mortal Soul, a Human of 20 years of age, he was nothing special but when Akatosh peered into this Mortal's mind he saw his memories. Learning that Atherius, the Et'Ada, himself, the Aedra, Daedric Princes, Oblivion, Mundus and Nirn were all apart of a fictional game universe known as the Elder Scrolls series, he did not know what to do. But Mara, Kyne and the other Aedric Gods of the Pantheon he ruled over conversed with him. Being convinced that the Mortal, whose soul he still held in his hands, could better the chaotic future of Nirn that were apart of the Mortal's memories, Akatosh/Aur-I-El chose to reincarnate the Human Mortal into the body of a 7 year old Falmer (Snow Elf) boy, via changing and altering the Timeline, causing a Dragonbreak as a result of creating two uncorrupted Falmer that should have never existed in the original timeline. 12 years before the events of the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim takes place, and Alduin's return from his supposed eternal banishment into the Current of Time thousands of years ago at the hands of the three Nord Hero's. A beautiful Snow Elven woman ran with her young son, trying her best to escape from their Imperial and Thalmor pursuers, having little choice, she lured the pursuers away as her son fell unconscious, only to awake co fused at where he was as memories of his past life flooded his mind. Looking at his body, he knew should his identity be revealed, especially to any Nord, he will be killed. With a prayer to Aur-I-El and Akatosh and all the Divines, he would journey throughout all of Nirn doing his best to learn and become strong enough to prevail against the trials that lay before him. But he also wants to help his people, as he too is now a Falmer, to cure his twisted and corrupted race to the once proud Snow Elves they once were while also ensuring the defeat of two God like beings. Alduin, the Band of Kings, the World-Eater, Firstborn of Akatosh, and as Aspect of Akatosh the Dragon God of Time. And... Miraak, the First Dragonborn (Dovahkiin). But what lingers in his mind is one thing... "Am I the Dovahkiin?" ... ... ... I do not own the cover image (show proof of ownership if you want it removed) or the Elder Scrolls Series. I will never drop this fic, updates will be slow at first but as I complete more of my other fanfics, I will post daily chapters. This fic will be expected to reach 500 to 1500 chapters. I hope for your continued support as I post more and more chapters. The mc of this fic will be similar to my mc of my Star Wars: Rise of Mandalore fanfic, Adrian Hawke. My star wars fic also has skyrim universe mixed into it.

Kingdom Building roles

hello again, while I am writing the next few chapters I would like your input on the different roles and such related to kingdom building and its government

I already have some major ones but anything else you can think of such as Naval or even more miscellaneous roles like Brewmaster would still be invaluable in helping to flesh out kingdom building since this fic will be very long and I have returned to doing it proper (if you've read note at end of last chaoter you'll know)

so far these are the roles, most I already have characters lined up for it but feel free to input any role ideas or OCs you want to fill those roles since there will need to be multiple individuals with the same role but spread across the different territories Sivreth will eventually take control of in the distant future.

• Ruler/Monarch - The Ruler is the highest-ranking person in the kingdom, above even the other kingdom leaders, and is expected to embody the values of the kingdom. The Ruler performs the kingdom's most important ceremonies (such as knighting royals and signing treaties), is the kingdom's chief diplomatic officer (though most of these duties are handled by the Grand Diplomat), is the signatory for all laws affecting the entire kingdom, pardons criminals when appropriate, and is responsible for appointing characters to all other high positions in the government (such as other leadership roles, mayors of settlements, and judges). The Monarch does not have to attend the meetings but they probably should. It is here that they will hear issues facing their kingdom and opportunities on hand of its expansion/betterment. The Monarch would make decisions based on advice offered their councilors, signing official documents and speaking with their ambassadors.

• Consort - The Consort is usually the spouse of the Ruler, and spends time attending court, speaking with and advising nobles, touring the kingdom to lift the spirits of the people, and so on. In most kingdoms, you cannot have two married Rulers and a Consort at the same time. The Consort represents the Ruler when the Ruler is occupied or otherwise unable to act. With the Ruler's permission, the Consort may perform any of the Ruler's duties, allowing the Ruler to effectively act in two places at once. If the Ruler dies, the Consort may act as Ruler until the Heir comes of age and can take over as Ruler.

• Lord Protector - The Lord Protector is not a permanent spot on the council, only needed when the monarch is incapacitated or too young to rule their country. The Lord Protector would take on the duties of a monarch during their tenure.

• Lord Chancellor/Prime Minister/Vizier/Counciler - This Councillor is the second most powerful person in the Kingdom. They have possession of the Great Seal of the Realm (an ornate stamp of Office used to seal official documents) and headed the Monarch's council. They would be responsible for most of the daily running of the kingdom, sometimes the real ruler of the country. They would head the council in the monarch's absence, sometimes acting as Regent when called upon.The Councilor acts as a liaison between the citizenry and the other kingdom leaders, parsing requests from the commonwealth and presenting the leaders' proclamations to the people in understandable ways. It is the Councilor's responsibility to make sure the Ruler is making decisions that benefit the kingdom's communities and its citizens.

• Viceroy - The Viceroy represents the Ruler's interests on an ongoing basis in a specific location such as a colony or vassal state (see the optional Vassalage edict). The Viceroy is in effect the Ruler for that territory; her orders are superseded only by direct commands from the Ruler.

• Royal Secretary (already have as Coumciler but can have separate) - The royal Secretary is in charge of the monarch's political correspondences, keeping the council's paperwork in order and is generally tasked with communicating the monarch's choices to the other councilors.

• Comptroller of the Royal Household - This position was filled by the Monarch's Chamberlain/Steward who had the run of the royal households. They acted in concert with the monarch's other councilors to ensure the monarch's lifestyle was being maintained.

• Solicitor-General - The Solicitor General is the councilor on hand to give the Monarch legal advice. The modern Solicitor General represents the monarch in court if needed and acts as a law advisor.

• General - The General is the highest-ranking member of the kingdom's military. If the kingdom has an army and a navy, the heads of those organizations report to the kingdom's General. The General is responsible for looking after the needs of the military and directing the kingdom's armies in times of war. Most citizens see the General as a protector and patriot.

• Grand Diplomat - The Grand Diplomat is in charge of the kingdom's foreign policy—how it interacts with other kingdoms and similar political organizations such as tribes of intelligent monsters. The Grand Diplomat is the head of all of the kingdom's diplomats, envoys, and ambassadors. It is the Grand Diplomat's responsibility to represent and protect the interests of the kingdom with regard to foreign powers.

• Heir - The Heir is usually the Ruler's eldest son or daughter, though some kingdoms may designate a significant adviser (such as a seneschal) as Heir. The Heir's time is mostly spent learning to become a ruler—pursuing academic and martial training, touring the kingdom to get to the know the land and its people, experiencing the intrigues of courtly life, and so on. Because the Heir carries the potential of being the next Ruler, the Heir's role is similar to the Consort in that the Heir may act on behalf of the Ruler.

• High Priest - The High Priest tends to the kingdom's religious needs and guides its growth. If the kingdom has an official religion, the High Priest may also be the highest-ranking member of that religion in the kingdom, and has similar responsibilities over the lesser priests of that faith to those the Grand Diplomat has over the kingdom's ambassadors and diplomats. If the kingdom has no official religion, the High Priest may be a representative of the most popular religion in the kingdom or a neutral party representing the interests of all religions allowed by the kingdom.

• Magister - The Magister guides the kingdom's higher learning and magic, promoting education and knowledge among the citizens and representing the interests of magic, science, and academia. In most kingdoms, the Magister is a sage, a Psyker, or a priest of a deity of knowledge, and oversees the governmental bureaucracy except regarding finance.

• Marshall of the Field - The Marshall of the Field is sometimes present at council meetings, most often before a war. They are given their orders from the monarch to represent their interests upon the field of battle. It was an honour almost exclusively given to nobility.The Marshal ensures that the kingdom's laws are being enforced in the remote parts of the kingdom as well as in the vicinity of the capital. The Marshal is also responsible for securing the kingdom's borders. He organizes regular patrols and works with the General to respond to threats that militias and adventurers can't deal with alone.

• Admiral of the Royal Navy - Like the Marshall of the Field, the Admiral has charge of the operations of the monarch's fleet of ships. The Admiral would be tasked with the defense of the coast and the overall running of the kingdom's sea power.

• Royal Enforcer - The Royal Enforcer deals with punishing criminals, working with the Councilor to make sure the citizens feel the government is adequately dealing with wrongdoers, and working with the Marshal to capture fugitives from the law. The Royal Enforcer may grant civilians the authority to kill in the name of the law.

• Spymaster - The Spymaster observes the kingdom's criminal elements and underworld and spies on other kingdoms. The Spymaster always has a finger on the pulse of the kingdom's underbelly, and uses acquired information to protect the interests of the kingdom at home and elsewhere through a network of spies and informants.

• Treasurer - The Treasurer monitors the state of the kingdom's Treasury and citizens' confidence in the value of their money and investigates whether any businesses are taking unfair advantage of the system. The Treasurer is in charge of the tax collectors and tracks debts and credits with guilds and other governments. The treasurer was in charge of the finances of the realm. They would have hundreds of accountants, tax takers and businessmen at their beck and call. They would be in charge of collecting the income of the realm and putting it to good use. The treasurer is usually a powerful but unpopular position

• Warden - The Warden is responsible for enforcing laws in larger settlements, as well as ensuring the safety of the kingdom leaders. The Warden also works with the General to deploy forces to protect settlements and react to internal threats.
