Chapter 14: Time Domain, Dream Simulation

Next morning, Quinn already thought of his next moves as soon as he woke up. He first had breakfast with the siblings and Androd and his brother in the Manor's huge dining area, which was by the way only used for the first time.

Because of the Tier 1 furniture's and cutleries' effects which some had appetite enhancing effects, Quinn and the others had a wonderful breakfast.

After eating, Quinn briefly told Anrod about his next plans to accelerate the learning speed of the siblings while also being able to enhance the territory's training power.

Anrod was really amazed at his Chief's abilities but still managed to keep his expression calm and prepared to teach the elves as best as he could.

Quinn once again told Alice that he wanted a time acceleration skill and Alice only took a few seconds to process before a ding resounded inside his head.

Quinn furrowed his eyebrows after reading the description. For him who had big ambitions, two times the normal speed of time was too slow. Moreover, even for him, he couldn't maintain it for long because of the ridiculous mana consumption.

Quinn only pondered for a moment before sacrificing the skill creation chances without hesitation. First was, he really couldn't think more of overpowered abilities that could help him currently. Secondly, he didn't want to waste his skill creation chances making skill that could shoot wind blades out of his hand.

It had a very short description but Quinn still could tell how powerful it was. He tried making a dream simulation found that he could make an area as wide as the whole Flatmore Forest. Moreover, he could speed up time as fast as ten times and this was just at level 1. After levelling up, he could reduce the mana consumption so didn't worry much about it.

Quinn had Anrod come over together with the ten elves and told them to sit together in a circle. After that, he brought over to the same dream world which was an exact copy of Flatmore Forest.

It was had no difference from the real Flatmore Forest and even Anrod hadn't noticed anything until he heard Quinn's voice informing him of their situation.

First is that, they will stay there for 10 days but when they wake up, only a day would have passed. Moreover, that time might increase when it reaches Tier 1.

As of now, the skill was constantly levelling up and the dream world's range was constantly getting bigger. After it became big enough, the mischievous Quinn decided to set up some Inheritance Towers for all of them where they will meet their own Spiritual Grandpas that would guide them in.

A Sword Inheritance Tower, Bow Inheritance Tower, Magic Inheritance Tower, Assassin Inheritance Tower, Paladin Inheritance Tower, Healer Inheritance Tower, Heaven's Eyes Inheritance Tower, and Business Management Inheritance Tower.

For the Business Management Tower, Quinn asked help from Anrod to set up a series of tests then have Nine and Ten fight in business war in the end.

As for the rest of the Towers, Quinn just filled them up with tests and some bullshit that he read countless times in webnovels.

As for him, he currently didn't have anything to do so he was searching for things that he might be able to do to occupy some time.

After some time, the only thing he could think of was to level up Time Domain slowly so he did just that.

Unfortunately, he could only last two seconds each time and then he would run out of mana. This was the first time he ever struggled with mana. He could only hope that he would be able to lessen its consumption to an amount he could maintain after levelling up. Too bad for him, the levelling speed was slower than usual because he can only activate it for a short time before having to stop.

For the first time ever, Quinn wanted to look for things that could boost his mana regeneration. The first thing he thought of was the Mana Gathering Array Formation.

Quinn checked the forums again and saw that there was only 1 Tier 1 weapon left. He already had materials to make a smaller scale version and was just short of a few materials for large scale one that would cover the whole manor.

Since that was the case, Quinn decided to grit his teeth and train the time domain skill some more while waiting for the materials to arrive.

Fortunately, after half a day, the last weapon was sold out and all the materials were on hand.

Quinn quickly took them out and synthesized them together with the blueprint.

The moment he set up the Array, a vortex seemed to form with the manor at the center. Quinn felt that the air suddenly seemed to become fresher and that his pores were opened and actively absorbing the rich mana in the air.

Doing a quick check, Quinn found that he was earning 10 xp and 10 mp every second. If he was actively absorbing, he would earn double.

The 10 xp, even 100 xp was pretty insignificant to him since one level up now costs hundreds of thousands of xp, much less 10. As for the 10 mp, he could double it by actively absorbing mana and coupled with his natural mana regeneration, he at least lessened the mana he was consuming every second.

With that, he trained for who knows how long as the day slowly passed by.
