Skelengel; Tales Of The Boundless One [Not Updating]

When the universe creates a person, they are bestowed with certain traits that we, as mere humans, are aware of. Sportiness, the ability to work with computers, and creativity are all things we may obtain at creation. However, some of those talents extend far past the mortal realm of flesh and blood. They go all the way to your very soul, and these are the ones that we cannot see. These few are destined to become Boundless. And it just so happens that one was designated to die on the fateful day a new god took sight over the earth. This is the tale of Aaron Stone, the once businessman turned planetary traverser. Aided by himself and his potential, he plans to live out his life with peace of mind. However, the universe has it out for him, and it won't let him ever have true peace. However, someone from behind the shadows controls everything, and they have quite a distaste for Aaron Stone. They will try to make his life a living hell. Everything you read here is an account of something going on in the vast universe. Hell, who knows... It may even be YOU who takes his place in the future. "So, you remember everything past that point, huh? Well, at least we know when you became conscious, but we still don't know why. You are conscious right now because of my level of Boundlessness, but the reason why is unknown. After all, we are all created for a reason. You being bound to my soul along with my Boundless Abilities and other factors were not just chance. Do you know why you were created, None?" Aaron asked the blue figure, who just shrugged while the Hero looked at him in confusion.

"Monster, what do you mean by 'Boundless'? It seems quite confusing." The Hero asked, curious about what made Aaron so strong. "Please, stop calling me a monster. Just call me Aaron. It's better than being grouped with mindless creatures, no? Also, to answer your question, I'll simply reply with the answer of them being my own little abilities. I have been blessed with useful skills, so these are the things I was using in our little scuffle. I was floating and shooting beams of energy, among other things, so yeah, welcome to the world you live in. Inhabited by gods." Aaron responded as he stretched his arms. He was just casually dropping the fact that he was a god, and there were multiple people in on this conversation, but everybody already knew, so there wasn't much of a reaction.

"I honestly don't know why I was created, but all I know is that I am now real. You can ask me many questions, but one I don't know the answer to is why I exist." None stated with a sigh. He wanted to know why he was created as well, but nobody knew yet. "Well, at least it isn't like anyone is withholding any information from us. We're all just as clueless as each other." Aaron sighed as Crystet tried to piece together what was going on by himself. He could understand Gods, Aaron's Boundlessness, and even his skills, but he was caught up in how the hell one came to life.

"I have no idea how to describe my existence. I just suddenly came into existence, and then I've just been watching from the background for a bit before finding this body to inhabit, and now, we are here." None replied, unknowingly settling all the theories running around their heads.

"The answer is right in front of us. We realised it earlier. You were simply given consciousness because of my Boundless Percentage, which means if people can reach 20% Boundlessness, a skill might come to life." Aaron thought as the others tried to understand what he meant. "N0N3 is a powerful skill which multiplies the amount of experience I got from slaying monsters, which led to me being here. This skill is the sole reason I'm now a god. I didn't even know what it did until I was sent flying out into Takamagahara, which is something you all, bar Crystet and I, would call Heaven. I just wanted to call it something cool as Heaven is such an overused name." Aaron admitted, shocking the blue material covering the Hero. "You really didn't know what I did until then? How stupid are you?" None asked with dead seriousness. He didn't know of anything before his awakening, meaning that this was unknown to him.

"Well, I knew you existed. I just didn't think you'd give me so much experience that I'd be sent flying out of the planet. You literally gave me enough for my power level to be unknown to both myself and every single god out there." Aaron explained as features began to form on the face of None. He was trying to create a body that would accommodate him and the Hero safely, so he was altering how the body looked to suit them. "Well, I'm not sorry that I'm such a good skill. Still, I need to figure out a good body for myself and this guy here to inhabit, so I'm going to walk away for a bit. Do not come looking at us, as it's a very gruesome-looking transformation, or at least that's what I can imagine it being in my head. If you hear combined screaming, that means that we're doing well." None stated as he began to stand up as the Hero looked on in fear. "Why do we need to scream? Is it going to hurt?" The Hero asked, not the biggest fan of pain. "No, it's going to be all primroses and daisies. Of course, it's going to hurt, but I'll be feeling it more because we're changing MY body. The only reason you'll feel pain is because I'm bound to you, so you'll receive 1/4 of the pain that I take if that makes any sense." None explained as the Hero sighed. He couldn't catch a break with this group, could he?

And with that, None and the Hero walked into the forest, and not five seconds after walking in could they hear screams. Almost as if the pair was being stabbed. "Yikes. I can't imagine how much I'd hate transforming if I had to go through such an effort every time. I certainly wouldn't be shapeshifting all too often." Aaron stated, watching as he covered his hand in artificial shadows. He could never even imagine doing stuff like this as a human. It was almost like something out of a fantasy novel. He couldn't even begin to imagine what was happening in other places, though. People were staring at him, watching his every move. They didn't know what he'd do next, and they were reading him as if he was part of a novel.

Aaron imagined what his life was like if it was in the format of a fantasy novel, and it all fit. His life was of lucky and unlucky chance, but he dismissed the idea. After all, Aaron was a person. He was real. Aaron was the master of his own destiny. Or was he?
