Chapter XXXVI: Deliverance.

After years of fighting and conquest, Lazarus returned to his lands in triumph. He was hailed as a hero by his people, and his name was feared by his enemies. But his work was not yet done.

In the year 1338, the French launched a surprise attack against the Holy Roman Empire. Lazarus knew that he could not sit idly by while his lands were threatened, and he mustered his armies once again.

The battle was fierce, with both sides fighting with all their might. But Lazarus was determined to protect his people, and he led the charge against the French forces.

He fought with a ferocity that was unmatched, cutting down his enemies with every stroke of his sword. His armies rallied behind him, inspired by his bravery and determination.

In the end, the Holy Roman Empire emerged victorious. Lazarus had once again saved his lands from destruction, cementing his place as one of the greatest warriors and leaders of all time.

But the victory came at a cost. In the heat of battle, Lazarus had been struck down, mortally wounded. As he lay dying on the battlefield, he knew that his time had come.

Despite the best efforts of his loyal companions, Lazarus passed away, and his body was never found. It was said that his spirit still lingered in his lands, guiding and protecting his people.

Before he died the electors already planned a successor if he died unexpectedly he hailed from the Austrian lands and he was excellent in administering the lands.

And as I record these final moments, I am filled with both sorrow and wonder. Lazarus may be gone, but his legacy lives on. He was not only a great warrior and leader but a symbol of hope and inspiration for generations to come.

And as I record my final years in this world, I only wish for his glimpse once again, just this once, and it came true.

He is not dead, and it's true that he was not a simple person but an emissary of God or death.

Vivat Imperator Augustus.

After his supposed death in the battle against the French in 1338, Lazarus disappeared from public view. Rumors began to circulate that he had faked his own death and was fulfilling a task given to him by God himself: to become the Grim Reaper or Death itself.

Though skeptical at first, Marcus delved deeper into the history of the time and found evidence to support these rumors. Mysterious deaths and unexplained disasters occurred in the wake of Lazarus's disappearance, leading many to attribute them to the wrath of God.

Lazarus moved silently through the shadows, causing destruction and chaos wherever he went. He targeted only those who deserved to die, and he did so with a sense of mercy that belied his fearsome reputation.

Even as Death, Lazarus remained true to his ideals. He carried out his grim task with honor and dignity, becoming a champion of justice and a defender of the innocent.

As Marcus recorded this dark chapter of Lazarus's life, he couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and reverence for his friend. Lazarus had taken on a burden that few could bear, yet he did so without hesitation. His legacy would live on, not only as a warrior and a leader but as a symbol of hope and courage in the face of darkness.

Lazarus, once the Emperor of the Western Romans and a hero in his own right, had become Death itself. He moved through the world like a shadow, unseen and unheard, his presence felt only in the wake of the destruction he wrought.

He had been given a task by God, and he fulfilled it with grim determination. He targeted only those who deserved to die, and he did so with a sense of mercy that belied his fearsome reputation.

But over time, Lazarus's sense of mercy began to fade. His task had become an addiction, and he reveled in the destruction he wrought. The innocent began to fall victim to his wrath, and he no longer discerned between the deserving and the undeserving.

As the centuries passed, Lazarus's sense of humanity began to erode. He became a being of pure darkness, a force of nature beyond the understanding of mortal men. He disappeared from the world, his presence felt only in the rumors and legends that surrounded his name and legacy of his empire.

Some whispered that he still walked among the living, a being of terrible power and malevolence. Others claimed that he had retreated to the underworld, ruling over the souls of the dead with an iron fist.

No one knew for sure what had become of Lazarus, but all agreed on one thing: he had become something beyond human, something beyond redemption. He was Death, and he would be feared and revered until the end of time.

Lazarus wandered on the fields, donning a black robe and he had a terrifying aura inside of him, scaring people on his way, he still held his sword that his father once owned but now corrupted by the devils, he saw a sign leading to the continent of Yaegrafane.

He talked to himself "Father, I have done what you willed, we have finally became someone in that world but now it's my time to repay my debts to our Lord. Sit aliquis vel nihil.."

End of the story, thank you for reading.
