"What are you doing?" As soon as her eyes adjusted to the person sitting before her, she hopped backwards until her back touched the wooden bench, restraining her from moving any further.

"Get ready, we are near the town. If you don't want to get in any more trouble just follow as I say otherwise you shall bear the consequence, am I understood?" He raised an eyebrow at her. The previous softening of his attitude was completely gone by now. 

"What else am I supposed to do now?" She asked, frustration laced through her tone.

"Keep a low profile and act like a lady. Nobody should know who you are and where you came from, ever." He stood up straight, stepping near her until he was almost towering over her. 

He then bent over to match the level of her face as he whispered, "Because here, it is not like escaping some sea monsters."
