ARIAN MEETS THE TREASURE HUNTERS 2

Arianna smiled as she entered the gate. She would be lying if she said she didn't want to come. How she loved drinking with them while they talked about the Mafia groups they had defeated.

Arianna carelessly left the car open and hurried in. She entered the bungalow and the four guys welcomed her happily.

Meanwhile,

Arian carefully crawled out of the car's trunk and looked at the three bungalows at the foot of the mountain.

He had never seen this mountain before, were they still in Parkville?

He heard laughters coming from the last bungalow he made his way and immediately a cage fell trapping him and an alarm siren resounded in the houses.

Oh no, Busted!

Ken was seated downing glass after glass of wine.

He hated himself for not being able to get over his past. He was alone in the house, Damien had gone abroad for a business trip.

Ken was sure that he was over Arianna but why did his heart start racing when he saw her again?

At that moment his phone rang.

He looked at the screen and frowned. Two words were written boldly, Miss Thompson.

He didn't understand why women were so persistent. He was polite to Sage because he had respect for her father but the woman was getting on his nerves. He switched of the phone and looked around his room. Since when did he become so disoriented? His briefcase was scattered on the bed, empty bottles were on the floor and the room smelled like alcohol.

He stood up and organised his briefcase and then he walked into the showers.

Arianna and the treasure hunters came out with their weapons.

' Who sent .... Arian?' Arianna says shocked.

' Lady Boss, do you know him?' D.D ask.

' That's my son!' Arianna replies.

Brainstorm does his thing and gets the cage off Arian and it rises to its inconspicuous position among the branches of a tree.

' Arian what are you doing here?' Arianna asks.

' I should be the one asking you that. Did you join a drug syndicate?' Arian retort.

' Let's talk inside.' Arianna says pleadingly.

Arian glares at the treasure hunters and follows Arianna inside.

Few minutes later,

They are all seated.

' Arian please don't tell the others about this.' Arianna says.

' As long as I grasp the meaning of what is going on, I will keep shut.' Arian replies.

' I can't involve you in this, it's too dangerous.' Arianna says.

' You should have thought about that before you joined a Mafia group.' Arian replies.

' Lady Boss should we knock him out?' D.D asks.

' Do you dare?' Arian and Arianna says simultaneously.

' Not only are you in a Mafia, you are the Mafia lord. I'm definitely Aunt Ash and Aunt Rio about this.' Arian says.

' Please don't tell them. I'm not a drug lord not am I in a Mafia.' Arianna replies.

' Then what are you? My patience is wearing thin Arianna Olivia Havana.' Arian says.

' Are you sure that this is her son?' Thunder whispered to Bullet.

' Fine I will tell you. These are the treasure hunters. That's Thunder, Bullet, D.D and Brainstorm. There's a cave in this mountain that contains all sorts of precious jewels and we are it's guardian. We are responsible for its protection. And I became the leader a few years back. It's quite dangerous as many people are trying to find me so they can take the core piece of the map from me and I'm afraid they might use you guys when the time comes.' Arianna explains.

Arian is silent.

' Are you upset with me?' Arianna asks.

' I'm speechless because I just realized I underestimated you intelligence.' Arian replies.

His mother who couldn't solve a jigsaw puzzle meant for 13 years old was the leader of some big shot group.

' What do you mean underestimated my intelligence?' Arianna says.

' I didn't think you were bright. I actually thought you were partially dumb.' Arian replies with a serious expression.

The treasure hunters clenched their fists to contain their amusement.

' Arian Aiden Havana!!' Arianna says.

' Lady Boss! No names.' Brainstorm reminded.

They refrained from using names as their names could give out their identity.

' Young Master, you must call her Lady Boss and we'll call you Young Master.' Thunder says.

' Now you must tell me everything from the beginning.' Arian says.

' Okay. It starte...'

' Not you! You will subtract the part where you messed up or did something wrong. I want him to tell me.' Arian says pointing at Brainstorm.

' Why him?' Arianna, Thunder, D.D and Bullet says.

' Because you all look like you would exaggerate or tell me unimportant things but he looks direct and straightforward.' Arian replies.

That was exactly what Arianna was afraid of. Brainstorm was way too straightforward.

' See you later Mom! Let's go somewhere quiet to talk, don't let them intimidate you.' Arian says patting Brainstorm's hand.

The two move to another room and Brainstorm explains the important details to Arian.

About two hours later,

' Bye guys. See you next week. Better be early.' Arianna says.

' Of course Lady Boss.'

' We won't miss it.'

' You must take us out when we come.'

' Take care of yourself and the Young Master.'

' Bye. See you next week. Mo.. Lady Boss it is way past your bedtime. Let's go.' Arian says.

The treasure hunters laughed out. Seriously, who was the mother and who was the child?

Arianna and Arian go back to the house and settle in to sleep.

' So your scar wasn't from your field trip?' Arian asks.

When Arianna got slashed with a knife, the wound formed a long dark scar across her back. She had staged a fake accident at a field trip so nobody asked questions.

' It means you actually very smart. Now of what use is my guidance.' Arian says pouting m

' I still need baby. Who will remind me to eat my vegetables or go to sleep. Who will feed me pudding? So what if Mom is smart? Baby is a Genius.' Arianna says and pecks Arian's cheek.

' Don't kiss me, old woman! Are you trying to make me fall for you?' Arian replies feigning annoyance,

' So what? Didn't you say you were going to be my househusband?' Arianna says.

' How can I stay mad at you? Of course I love you the most.' Arian says.

' And I love you too.' Arianna replies.

' Good night Mom.' Arian says.

' Good night Baby.' Arianna replies.
