10-Agent J-Part 2

The Director gave the bald man a rather discerning look.

"I was talking to the child." The director calmly but firmly stated.

"But sir-" The bald man started.

"If you persist with the interruptions, I will have you detained for insubordination." The director again calmly but firmly stated.

The bald man remained quite with a slight look of fear in his eyes.

The child look up to the director and said, "S-sir I am quite y-young...a-a-are you s-sure you want me to be out there by mys-self?"

The director scoffed at his remark and stated, "You won't be out there by yours-self," he said in a mocking tone, "You will have 2 other exp- I mean 'Agents' with you, alongside all 3 of your guides." He stated while glancing at the bald man.

The director than started again, "And we won't immediately ship you off to a wasteland. You will receive proper hand to hand combat, ability mastery, and survival trainings before your deployment into the field."

The child, now intrigued, hesitates and asks, "Will I be able to talk with my parents first?"

The director rolls his eyes and says, "We'll give them a call to set up an appointment."

"O-okay, th-thank you sir" Andreas stuttered.
