{Carmilla's POV}

When I heard what that man said about me, I wanted to kill him and make him feel a pain he had never felt before but before I could do anything, Adam spoke up for me. When I say that Adam speaking up would be the best stroke of luck this man has had, you would not believe me.

Adam was listening to the man yap about wanting me and Zephyr, and I could tell that he was emitting a bloodthirsty aura that would make anyone step back in fear, and yet this man was too stupid to realize. Adam tolerated this man's behavior but when he heard about what the man wanted to do to me, his next course of action both flattered and surprised me at the same time. "You can insult and torture me, but if you do or say anything to my woman, I will make the last few minutes of your life the worst you have ever experienced."

When I heard him refer to me as his woman, I felt happy and started blushing like a young girl in love. However, what transpired afterward was for Adam to see and for us to figure out as he erected a small opaque dome around him and the man.

It was too hard to figure out what was happening considering the bloodcurdling scream that gave even Zephyr the chills.

{Adams POV}

My torture was something that had me disgusted as well but my rage had clouded my judgment and all I wanted was to make this man feel pain.

As he was sprawling on the ground in agony, I watched him with disdain as I contemplated my next course of action. It was then that I realized that this man had most probably raped multitudes of powerless women as a way to satiate his lust. What I was going to do next was utterly disgusting and would make this man want to die from shame and yet I was not hesitant to carry it out.

I used a summoning spell taught to all Vynes as a child for self-protection in the wild but what I was going to use the summons for was completely different than what they had in mind. I summoned a few goblins that had my ice affinity and before the man knew it, he was being r**ed in all ways known to man and more. The man at this point had no more tears to shed and no voice to scream with.

I felt disgusting after the anger subsided and even puked out my stomach's contents when I saw the damage I had caused to this. While I was puking, my barrier crumbled and my hair reverted to its color. Carmilla caught sight of what I did and shrieked a bit before making her way over to me and comforting me. I was angry at myself for what I did and lashed out at her for comforting me despite what I did to this man. He could have had a sickly mother or a small family at home, but I didn't care and did it either way.

"Adam, you did what you did for my sake, and nothing is wrong with that, but if you're going to get angry at me for trying to help you, then what was the point of all this brutality?" Adam looked at her for a bit before a tear trickled down his blood-stained face. He buried his face into her bosom and silently cried. She felt bad for him and so did Zephyr which she showed by wrapping her scaly body around them as they embraced in a cold environment.

It took some time before he calmed down but when he did, he went on to pick up the man before casting the highest level of healing magic he could, but his face could only be completely healed by a high-level magic spell because the mask I made completely froze his dying cells making it difficult to bring his face back to the way it was. His eyesight was easily restored since he wasn't blind and it was just covered in a thin layer of ice, but he would have been blinded had it been left like that for longer, his manhood was brought back but he was still left with a deep fear for the man in front of him. His arm was unable to be restored as it was cut off by his sword which achieved the same results as the mask.

"Please don't hurt me! I promise I have never touched a woman in my life, and I never will. I was so full of lust and this miasma corrupted my mind making me think I was doing nothing wrong. I will never do this again sir." Adam looked at the man with pity as he realized that what he said made complete sense.

Another reason Adam lost control was because of the so-called miasma. To temper your body in this forest requires a strong mental state but it gets harder the further you go. This man was already on the brink of mutation and the fact that he got this far was commendable.

"What's your name?" The man looked at Adam fearfully before quickly answering, "Richard sir!" Carmilla raised an eyebrow at his question but paid no mind to it. "Richard, I deeply apologize for the pain and trauma I put you through and I know that I can't reverse time, but I can help you find someone who will be able to fully heal you and return to normal. I could tell that your confession was sincere and I am willing to help you as an apology for my mercilessness."
