Chapter 8

It was the next day and I woke up early again so I decided to do my normal workout routine and training. I also decided to grab some groceries so I can cook for myself instead of relying on the school convenience store or restaurants for food. I come back to my dorm and put away my recently bought groceries and have a shower then put on my uniform to go to school, by the time I was done I was leaving my room at a more reasonable time than last time since I saw some of the early birds on their way to school.

I get approached by some people from my class and talk to them on the way to class. I walk into class to see that the majority of the seats were filled, it seems that most of the students took my advice seriously, good. The two latest arrivals were Yahiko and Hashimoto, Yahiko arrived like he woke up late and sprinted here, he was out of breath of looked like he haphazardly put on his uniform. Hashimoto on the other hand arrived like he planned this, he arrived than a few seconds later the bell rang, and he always had a grin on his face ever since he entered the class. Why do people want to get on my bad side at this school?

Well as long as he doesn't hurt the class. He can do that, though I don't recommend it.

Lunch arrived in a flash and I surprisingly got a message from Karuizawa.

[can you come to class d for lunch] - Karuizawai

[its for the thing you asked me to do] - Karuizawa

[sure ill come right over] - Katsu

I put my phone in my pocket only to be greeted with a smug-looking Sakayanagi boring into me.

"What?" I question

"I'm just wondering who it might be, your popularity has been rising quickly its crazy. I think there might not be a singular first year who doesn't know your name and appearance, or at least details of it." Sakayanagi says, holding her smug grin, trying to tease me.

"Well at least im doing my job, and could be doing your job" I look around to see if the class is empty, most people get something from the cafeteria or convenience store during lunch and no one was around so I continued.

"Masumi Kamuro, in case you don't remember her name she was purple hair with a ponytail on the right. She shoplifts." Sakayanagi was surprised by the info, but didn't let much show, I continued.

"Masayoshi Hashimoto, your male counterpart find some way to get him under control, and fast" I say coldly, but Sakayanagi almost looks unfazed.

"Fufufu Telling one how to do one assigned job, I just prefer do to it a bit more slowly than you." She justifies herself with. I gotta end this quickly.

"Whatever you say, I'm just about 75% done with my side of the deal, and I did about a third of your work, so please respect my time." I say while exiting the class so Sakayanagi doesn't have a chance to respond. I make my way to Class-D. It was a tougher journey than expected, I kept getting looked at with an amount of contempt from the first-year guys. It was kinda annoying but I continued.

I arrived at Class-D and opened the door only to be met by a classroom that was very vacant classroom, there were a total of 5 people including Karuizawa. When I opened the door all the attention was on me though I recognized most of the people looking at me there was Horikita Karuizawa and the guy that Horikita talked to after the bus ride. I just made my way over to where Karuizawa was sitting without caring much about their attention and it mostly seems their curiosity faded except for the well-endowed blue-haired girl who continued to look at me. I will just ignore her for now.

"So what exactly do you need help with?" I ask Karuizawa in a low voice so that she can hear but the others in the room can't.

"Well, like everything. I just don't know what to say, I don't want to talk in front of the whole class. Why can't you just do it? You did it just fine when it was just us two" Karuizawa asked me she didn't quite match my volume so I'm almost certain the blue-haired girl heard something. Sadly I could not oblige and I gave her the reason as to why.

"I can't do it, it might sound better if I do it, it'll be more professional, but in the end, this is your class, not mine. They would hear someone out more if they were closer to them, even if by relation." I answered and it seemed to make some sense to her so she stopped that line of questioning and asked me for more details.

"Okay whatever I have to do it, but what do I even say?"

"Just use the same method I did, I asked you a question you thought you had the answer to, then I corrected you, you asked a question to learn some more about what I knew, and you were convinced based on what you heard. It's a foolproof formula really." I answered she seemed to gain some confidence

"And don't forget, it's okay to say I don't know, you just need to bring up the idea that the school works based on merit and try to get them to be more meritable students."

"You make it sound easier than it is" Karuizawa responded after my little monologue

After that, it seemed like most of her none anxiety concerns with the post-school message were over, so I just talked to her for the rest of lunch to ease her mind. Lunch was almost over so I went back to my class and the next thing I knew the final bell rang. I stayed motionless knowing that I don't have to move since my club is in the same class after waiting a bit I see Monika enter my class-turned-clubroom.

"Oh… I didn't expect anyone to be here before me."

(A/N: Sorry for the delay between chapters I've been swamped recently. Don't expect another chapter for about another week, this one is kinda pumped out so I apologize if it isn't really quality)
