Life Come Crashing Down
After exiting the machine Ryujin was excited. since they let him out of the machine that means that he should have awakened his superpower. He couldnt wait to find out what power he had awakened so he walked up to the Vice Chairman who was waiting on the side. As he walked up to him Ryujin noticed that something seemed off about the Vice Chairman, as the man had an absent look on his face.
"Mr. Vice Chairman, what is the matter is everything ok? also what type of ability or abilities did I awaken?" Ryujin asked
The Vice Chairman looked at Ryujin with a conflicted look. This here was a young man from a promising family. Today was supposed to be the first and best day to the start of his life but sadly. Without awakening any ability he would suffer having been born in that family instead.
"Young Ryujin" The Vice Chairman said as he knelt down. " I need you to take a seat can you do that?"
"What's the matter sir, is there a problem? Is my ability to weak? If so that's not a problem, it's been known that with training even weak abilities can become strong abilities." Ryujin replied with noticeably less excitement thinking he had a weak ability.
letting out a sigh the Vice Chairman slowly said " Ryujin you didnt awaken an ability, the levels of the cosmic energy in your body is equivalent to that of a normal person. You cant be awakened, It isnt that rare. there are alot of people out there that have the same condition as you. It's a condition where the body stops building up cosmic energy and caps off at a minuscule amount. The excess energy would then be expelled out of the body. this condition is known as leaky body syndrome."
"So I cant ever become a Ranker?" Ryujin asked.
"No, I'm afraid not. your father is waiting for you in the car. come let me walk you out." The Vice Chairman said as he held his hand out for Ryujin to grab.
Grabbing hold of his hand Ryujin held his head down. If someone were to look closely they would be able to see drops of water falling to the ground behind Ryujin as he was lead back toward the elevator. Once back inside the elevator the Vice Chairman once again knelt down beside Ryujin with his big body.
"Ryujin remember if you need any help in the future you can come to me to ask."
"Why would you still be willing to help me out?" Ryujin asked in a low and sombersome voice.
"Your mother and I were once in the same guild, she once saved my life back in the day. So even though she has been missing for 6 years, I will do my best to help you." said the Vice Chairman with a hint of seldom.
"Do you know where my mommy is Mr. Chairman? I cant find her, father said that she isnt coming home. Is that true?" even more tears started to flow from Ryujin's eyes as he asked this questions.
"I dont, But I do know that she is one of the strongest Rankers I know if anyone can come back from that place it would be her. Also stop calling me Vice Chairman, just call me Uncle Jim." Jim said. As he stood back up the elevator was just opening.

Back up top on the first floor of the Ranker Association building Tiger Grace had just stepped out of the building when he was surrounded by a group of reporters.
"Mr. Grace, Mr. Grace what rank is the ability your son awakened?" Reporter1
"Mr. Grace, did your son awaken one ability or more than one?" Reporter2
"Mr. Grace, How are you feeling right now?" Reporter3
"Mr. Grace, Mr grace there's a rumor going around that the Grace family does power match making marriages to strengthen both its political power and superhuman power, is this true Mr.Grace?" Reporter4
Feeling annoyed with all the question, and angry at the fact that the son that should have had the most potential was born with leaky body syndrome. Tiger shouted as he let out his aura pressurizing the reporters and everyone weaker than him in the area.
"Back the fuck off! and get out of my WAY!"
As everyone around fell to the ground unconcious Tiger retrieved his aura and walk towards the black sedan waiting for him in the distance. "How could I have not noticed earlier."
