Strange Eggs

"Okay. I will know your name later!" Zamright chuckled as he walked gently and looked around the cracked ice castle.

His face wasn't the usual cold but soft with a slight smile of innocence.

As for his eyes, they held the curiosity of a boy that hasn't been to the world but read much about it.

That was Zamright, he had indeed read a lot but experienced very little.

He knew of various amazing True Blessings and other blessings as well as racial abilities and even techniques, skills and sorcerers but he lacked an actual experience about them.

Another thing was that his luck was high today because this encounter really was a boon to him. The frozen body has revealed something about his body and the exalted blessing.

Impure Essence was the remnants of his master's essence in his bloodstream which he managed to remove by making what was called Century Blood Coins.

But that wasn't the only Impure Essence as far as he knew because his body had been built using his master's essence for thousands of years.

As he gradually purified himself, he would excavate them until every cell in him was with no taints.

However, the nature of his master's blessings come in different ways.

For example, the Exalted Energy his body was now making also has a taint of his master as such the skill he used to make the new Iron Coin was very profound which make it cleanse both his body and the Exalted Energy constantly being made.

This interesting realization came about because he was frozen easily but the part where his master's essence concentrated wasn't frozen at all.

This allowed him to feel every part of his body in its true way, and also made him able to extract the concentrated essence with relative ease.

Before this realization he had to use both hands to make Century Blood Coin but now he can make it using only one hand and with less concentration.

The formation of the Iron Coin alone broke the Force Buckle, before they were even complete he was able to move.

Zamright has only used one of the coins and threw at the demon, its pressure shattered the ice crystal and also the impact blasted it away.

Zamright with one more coin in his hand looked around before he walked toward the demon body he sent far back into the castle.

The trail of blood was repulsive given the nature of it coming from different creatures. As he went deeper the blood was wiggling like giant worms and being pulled but they dissipated into mist.

They were close when a very strong energy appeared which forced the six arm creature to slam to the ground before bursting into smoke.

Above them, a giant weave of intricate pattern that made a plate appeared above the castle.

The plated pattern squeezed, becoming small before the unnatural thing began to morphed into a solid construct and then something with a dignified presence descended.

Zamright smiled as his eyes widened,

"An egg. Is this a summon or conjuration!" he wondered.

The wind blew and the ice castle began to thaw.

Even in smoke form the six arm creature was struggling to stay alive.

Zamright feared that it would die and so he dashed to the demon. It was dead, drained from its blood, however its body was wrapped around something.

Its female face was in deep melancholy, tears frozen on its now soft face.

Seeing it in that way made Zamright frowned and he felt a knot on his throat.

While this was happening, an assault of energy was coming from the now descending egg with a power greater than what the ice demon has used so far.

And what was protecting him was the coin he was holding. It has some kinda force as he holds it.

With a nudge, he pry opened the dead female ice demon and what was blow trembled. At that moment the descending egg descended down very fast like a moving rocket.

Clank!

Clank!

Zamright slammed a newly formed Iron Coin with the one in his hand, the sound shattered the energy descending and the momentum of the egg lost and it crashed elsewhere in the castle.

A crystal egg was what the demon was protecting, within was a pulsing power that was growing.

The crystal egg was seated on a nest of purified blood weaves which fed it.

The nest was connected with the blood river and the ice demon was the one purifying the blood into essence before it reached the nest.

Upon closer look, he realized that the demon was just a vessel for the egg. The egg was the real thing he was fighting.

"Haha, hello small one!" he said with a laugh.

The egg, which was half his size, trembled and Zamright placed his hand gently on it and he felt fear and desire. The desire to live and grow.

He bent and pulled it off from the blood nest, it resisted for a moment but gave off and he placed it on the ice tiles.

Zamright looked around for blood, he then walked back to where many beasts in the ice slab were. They were now all broken and blood was spilling.

With a wave of his hand, a masterful and graceful control of the blood came about. A serene atmosphere was created as the blood themselves submitted and flowed according to Zamright wishes.

Standing before the egg, Zamright activated his second blessing: Blood Sustenance.

The blood moved fast beautifully into a flat but complex mesmerizing weave. They glow beautiful red and blood moved within weaves.

Soon after several shifts, an essence was being gradually formed which Zamright directed toward the egg.

The fear vanished in the egg and desire of what was coming increased but was tamed as whatever inside the egg tried to become calm to show respect.

Soon the pure blood essence touched the egg.

Zoot!

The egg hummed before it floated, the crystal shell hardened before they turned creamy. Until its partial transparency was gone, becoming more like a cream gem.

When another essence was dropped, it trembled, this time some sort of bind was manifest on, it wanted to bond with him.

Zamright then gently placed the Iron Coin.
