Jealous?

"Are you Sajou Wataru-kun?"

Raising his brows, Sajou affirmed, "Yeah, did you need something from me?"

"I am Aizawa Rena from class 1-B, mind if I join?"

Miko and Hana were also from class 1-B, so turning to them Sajou asked, "Know her?"

Miko nodded while giving a surprised look at Aizawa, "Yeah she sits right behind Hana."

"Shouldn't you be with your boyfriend now Aizawa-san? I remember always seeing you two together."

Miko's statement instantly put a sore expression on the girl, reminding her of that unfaithful boyfriend of her's.

"Who cares about him? Hmph!"

"O-oh" Miko seemed to not have expected such a reaction.

Seeing the group look at her with an awkward expression the girl quickly put back her smile, "Well I guess you are busy now Sajou-san, let's talk later."

Saying such, she turned around and scurried away.

"Did I say something I shouldn't have?" Miko put on an embarrassed expression.

"Don't worry about it, she was the weird one. Let's just eat", Nonchalantly saying so Sajou took some of the fish cakes from Miko's bento.

Nodding, Miko focused on her food, a pair of fish cakes, some rolled eggs, sorted vegetables and lastly steamed rice.

A simple and easy meal from her mother, "Please have some eggs too."

"I'll exchange those for some of my fried potatoes then." Sajou had cooked his own bento, a generous amount of egg fried rice with some crispy potatoes on the side.

"Hey, give me some too!" called out Hana.

Glancing at the empty box in front of her, Sajou couldn't help but say, "You shouldn't eat so much fast Yurika-san, you'll become fat otherwise."

Shooting a displeased expression at Sajou, Yurika puffed out her chest, "Hmph! I will have you know, I don't get fat no matter how much I eat, alright?"

"And that isn't something you should say to a lady, Sajou-kun!" Crossing her arms Yurika said, expressing her displeasure.

"Oh sorry for that." Glancing at her meatbags, Sajou guessed where it all went.

"Here, have some of mine, Hana." Miko said while pushing her box towards her.

"You can have mine too"

Putting on a bright smile Yurika instantly forgot her displeasure and started taking half from each of them.

"....."

'...Maybe I should have just ate in the class.' Wataru couldn't help but lament.

(Natsukawa POV)

Wataru has been acting weird since yesterday.

He has not been disturbing me or even looking at me.

Ashida could probably guess that I was worried, so she has non-stop been coming up with reasons.

"Sajotchi probably got hit a bit too hard, don't worry he will go back to being your Wataru very quickly."

"What do you mean my Wataru!?" I didn't care about that guy, "Anyway I am happy now that he stopped pestering me, he was such a bother."

Yes, it was better now that he stopped. He was so gross, always pestering me to go on dates or calling me a goddess so shamelessly!

"Where did he even go for lunch? He used to always be with us during the lunch break." Ashida was still talking about him.

"Where he goes is none of our concern. I am happy if it's just the two of us now, Ashida."

That Wataru talked to me in such a way today, who cares about him, hmph!

Suddenly Ashida stopped walking, looking out of the hall window.

"What wrong Ashida?"

"Hey, isn't that Sajotchi?"

What? Where?

Turning to where Ashida was pointing at, I saw Wataru sitting on the garden bench talking and eating with two girls.

My eyes couldn't help but widen and my hands clenched.

What was he doing talking with other girls like that?

(3rd person POV)

Making his way back, Wataru couldn't help but think, 'I should pack more from now on.'

Yurika had eaten half of his portion, leaving him still quite hungry. That girl sure was a glutton.

Entering the class, he could feel numerous gazes on him, no doubt all eager to see some new drama unfold.

Ignoring them, Wataru made way to his desk.

As he sat down he noticed that Natsukawa was giving him a deathly stare.

'What's up with her?' acting as if he hadn't seen her, Wataru took out some materials to study, the grind must never stop.

Though this seemed to piss Natsukawa even more, "Hey where were you just now?"

Focusing on his notebook, Wataru replied, "Garden"

"And?" The short reply made Natsukawa feel frustrated.

"And?" Wataru asked back, still not looking away from his book.

"....." Natsukawa clenched her fists, feeling her temper rise.

"Wataru you-"

*Ding Ding Ding Dong*

The sound of the bell ring cut her off.

Seeing the teacher entering promptly, Natsukawa was forced to swallow any questions she had for later.

"Let's go play table tennis!"

One boy and two girls could be seen in front of the Takeshi sports facility, a renowned club in the city.

After contemplating and discussing where they should go, the trio decided to take up Yurika's idea of table tennis.

It was a good sport to play together with friends and the location was also quite close to school.

"Today is gonna be so much fun! Let's go Miko, Sajou-kun!"

Yurika excitedly pulled Miko inside while distracted Wataru followed closely from behind.

Wataru was feeling quite unnerved for some time now, after deciding which place to play he started seeing and feeling a sort of aura around things.

No doubt due to all the rewards he had gotten while generating and completing short and simple tasks around Miko and Yurika-san. His spirit had hit 5 points just now.

There were all kinds of invisible things with a sinister aura roaming around. It was an astonishing new experience for Wataru.

Some of these aura's even seemed ready to attack whenever Yurika passed by.

Thankfully whichever ones dared to do so vanished the next instant.

Looking forward, Wataru couldn't help but think, 'She literally got the Golden retriever energy all around her'

Yurika was surrounded by a bright golden aura, it was like a beacon of light in this bleak world filled with all these invisible sinister things.

"Hey! Hey! Sajou-kun, please stop ignoring me!" Getting out of his thoughts Wataru noticed Yurika, pouting and giving him a displeased gaze with her arms crossed.

"Oh Sorry, sorry. What were you saying?"

"I asked if you wanna start playing with me first or Miko?"

"Uhh, I don't wanna dampen your energy Yurika-san, so how about we go first?" Turning to Miko he asked, "Are you okay with that Yotsuya-san?"

Miko nodded her head while saying, "It's alright, please have fun."

Getting ready to start the match, Wataru issued a task.

[Task -defeat Hana in a tennis Match -Generation]

Time limit - 15 minutes.

Reward - +2 life force, active skill - ki movement.

Penalty - +20 gluttony.
