Chapter 3 - First Quest

After I head out of the house, I grabbed a quick bite from a relatively known tea stall where Special Jounin Mitarashi Anko always ate her dango's at.

Just a bite of it, makes me want to eat ten more Dango stick. Damn , now I know why Anko was freaking obsesses!?

Finally! I was wondering when is the system going to issue Quest. It looks like it gives quest base on what I'm planning to do, when I take Genin mission as a ninja and something that has to do with the story plotlines.

I headed for the village shopping district. it was roughly dinner time when I walked into the bustling village center, so it was pretty crowd with people coming in and out of shop either eating at a local cuisine or buying groceries for making dinner at home or maybe something more.

I walked looking around, trying to fin the weapon shop. I have window shop before but I have yet to buy anything. The Academy issues Kunai and Shuriken were all purcases from the academy itself at a subsided for students but were poorly made ones for only training purposes.

Once I caught sign of weapon shop , I changed my direction heading straight for it. I wanted to finish the quest as soon as I can and get that rewards. I also need to check the system if I had any beginners Gift box that every reincarnation novels I've read seems to get.

The interior shop were clean and wide with various ninja tools lining up on the display cabinet on both side. On the counter a large burly looking men was handling the counter.

The jiggling sound of the door alerted the man of my presence as he looked at me assesses me whether if I was a potential customer or not.

His voice were heavy but sounded soft for an overgrown bear-like man. "Welcome to Ogawa weapons , how can I help you?"

"Yes, Ogawa-san I'm about to join the academy soon. I'm here to buy training tools before I admitting to the academy as a student." I said standing in front of him , seeing him nodded with a smile like it's the usual thing. 'Although joining the academy soon is a lie but it's not like it'll hurt him much.'

No doubt some kids did this before entering the academy. "Then you can only buy blunt Kunais and Shurikens as for the sharp ones. Sorry , Kid but you can only buy those once your Genin."

"I would like 15 Kunais and Shurikens each, 4 training weights for both arms and legs."

"Of course." He rummage through his drawers behind the counter a bit before presenting the correct amount of Kunais and Shurikens plus the training weights.

"How much?" I ask taking out my wallets, "500 Ryo for 5set each. 150 Ryo for each weights. (500*6) + (150*4) = 3,600" Handing him the correct amount, then I remember there was a hidden condition from the quest.

I don't what it is but it doesn't seem to hurt me for wasting more money as long as I'm not wasting it. I have 2 Million Ryo from 3 years of savings.

"How much is a katana?"

"..."

"I'm not allow to sell a katana to someone who hasn't even become a student not much less a Genin."

"Is there a training katana and dual wakizashi?" Which he immediately grabbed a training katana and dual wakizashi at the backdoor which is probably the storage room.

"250 for the Training Katana and 200 for the dual wakizashi."

"add some scrolls for basic katas for katana and the wakizashi."

"Add another 1,000 to that pile. Which amounts to 250+200+1,000=1,450 Ryo." He smiles seeing this I knew he sees me as a valuable customer.

After leaving the shop, I headed out to Training ground 20 near my apartment as that place seems to be abandoned and I have never seen anyone use the place since I used them in my regular training session.
