She was always the One.

Swimming to her I ask her about how it's dangerous to be in the water with a man almost naked. She said it was my problem. She has no idea how right she is about that. My cock was so hard being this close to her like this. So little clothing between us. She really was going to drive me crazy. Being with her set my insides on fire. I was throbbing for her. Craving to be inside her. In seconds I was inches from her face, the scent of her lust filling the air around us. I could hear her heart beating fast. And then she says "you're right it is my problem" and then she kissed me. Holy fuck she kissed me. Is kissing me. I bring her closer to me, pulling her mouth closer to mine. The first opening she makes in her mouth I slide my tongue in. Tasting her. My arms wrapped around her hands holding her back keeping her chest pinned to mine. And I devour her completely. I've wanted her like this since the moment she walked through that door in her fathers office. We somehow make our way towards the water fall it was a little more shallow so I could just stand with my chest just above the water. I put my hands on her ass and throw her up some making her legs wrap around my hips. I lean her against the mossy wall behind her. Kissing her deeper and deeper barely breathing, my dick was throbbing in my pants as she's rubbing her pussy against it. "If you don't stop I'm going to take you right here and now." I growled at her, feeling the voice of predator deep inside me. "Maybe that's what I want. What I choose." And with those words I lost control pushing her harder against the wall kissing her swollen lips and begin to pull my pants down, I was going to fuck her brains out right here and now. I was going to fill her up with me. All of me. She's mine. Now and forever. MINE. A loud screech like the sound of metal grinding in your ears broke up our intimate moment.

worse things are coming

Leaving Marcy with Orion in her room, we moved to the room across the hall. The other door lead into her recreational room. It had navy blue furniture just like Orions room. A couch with matching chairs in the center. There was a round white wooden table with white wooden chairs in one corner. Next to a window was a cello and a piano. The room had tall windows along one wall. Paintings of storms on the walls. The other side was practically a small library. From the end of the window around the corner all the way to the other wall was shelves of books and with different figures and boxes and crystals and such things placed around the shelves.

Theo was sitting on the couch and the king and queen were sitting in the two chairs in the center of the room. Alistar was sitting in Orions reading chair near the window and book shelf. Alderic was standing between his mother and father. Oleander and Arragon stood near Theo. Emmery and Elliot stood behind the couch Theo was sitting on. And Erin was leaning on the closer of the two middle windows.

Theo

Theo begins. Telling them what had happened. Skipping the intimacy part of course.

"How do you think those creatures got past our defenses unnoticed?" Asked Oleander.

"When did the Rot start to reach here?" Arragon asking

"Apparently today" Theo said.

"I think it actually began several weeks ago when the first leaf fell from the Life Tree." The King started "a few weeks ago a priest had come to connect with the tree and found a leaf in the ground."

"Why didn't you say anything father?" Erinn asked from the corner.

"I spoke of it only to your mother and two older brothers Alderic and Alistar." The king replied "I wanted to keep it under wraps until we had more information"

Alderic stepped up to finish "that was when we started the preparation and I road tower with the other clan leaders about uniting" Taking a breath he continued "it was then the clan members agreed Theo and Orion were to be betrothed and upon marriage they would unite as one kingdom under one crown."

"I've been dealing with the rot in my clan's territory for almost a decade, but now it seems it's spreading" Theo said "and these trench stalkers aren't even the worst of things to come."

"We have been hearing reports and rumors of beast attacks in the smaller territories between us," Oleander said "at first I just chalked it up to isolated incidents, but now I'm thinking they're connected"

"You think they could be scouting? Elliot suggested.

"I'll tighten the palace perimeter and assign more guards to the gates and to roam the city" Alderic said "we will impose a curfew starting tonight"

"Yes, that's all that's good and well, but by worse things to come, what do you mean?" Alistar finally speaking up.

"What I mean is those beasts are nothing compared to what is to come as the Rot spreads." Theo begins "I've personally seen hoards of Typhoid Rats, Gigamoles, Wicked Spektors and Nightshades, to name a few of the scarier ones."

"Nightshades don't exist, they're a scary story told by parents to their children" Alistar questioning Theo.

"No, they're as real as you and I and much more terrifying than the stories suggests" Theo responded.

Alistar scoffs dismissing Theo

"No Alistar, he's right, nightshades are not just a thing of childish nightmares. They are very real and very dangerous and very hard to kill." The king corrected

"We'll need to get necromancer weapons if we're gonna be able to fight them" Alderic was saying "only weapons from the underworld can harm one of the underworld, our worldly weapons will cause no damage to things like Shades or Spektors."

"Are there more necromancers in the city?" Emmery finally speaking up.

"There's about 15 in the entire city than can do any real necromancy, but only about 8 with real affinities, and that number includes our sister" Alistar said. He knew all the magic users and their abilities within their city borders.

"We will need them to forge weapons and defenses, we will have to send out notice to employ magic master smiths and necromancers" Alderic said.

Discussions went on for a few hours and then there was a knock at the door.
