Urgent Meeting

The next day was a weekend, a resting day for some civil servants, but that wasn't the case for Rancho High School staff. Every member has a long written message awaiting them in their WhatsApp group, it wasn't a regular reminder message that used to come from a particular handler Mr. Julia who happens to be the SRO, neither was it a message of conduct that comes from the School principal Mr. Williams. This time the sender used a custom phone number with a USAGov customized contact that has a registered USGov head office verification. The strange thing about the sender was that the number rarely sends a message to the group or else it emerges. The last time they got a message from the sender, was about the dismissal of the formal principle following the embezzlement of funds meant for library and lab maintenance and equipment.

And this time, who knows what's the cause of the alarm? After a few minutes the message was delivered a hush tag Mr. Williams came, demanding that every staff must be present in the school conference hall before 10 am the next day.

What happened to this one? The School principal Mr. William said in complaint, sounding tired from the sound of his voice. He was the first to come and has been pacing to and forth in the school conference room while waiting for other staff to arrive. He has some dark circles in his eyes which is evidence he didn't have a good night's sleep.

Good morning "Mr. Williams. Two female teachers greeted him as they came in, before making their way to the conference area.

Then Followed by other teachers and before you knew it every chair was filled up. The room was silent, but sounds of whispering could be heard as some staff engaged in discussions were observing the quiet atmosphere.

All this while Mr Williams has been busy with his phone answering one call after another, his yet to sit down, with his face turning pale now and then. The staff members were all waiting in curiosity, wondering what must have happened that warranted such an urgent meeting.

Okay, good morning all, mmh? First I must commend you all for answering this emergency call despite your already scheduled weekend. Mr Williams complimented with a bitter smile.

C'est bon; Miss Charlotte replied in French.

And what does that mean; Mr Williams requested

It's fine, Miss Charlotte answered with a smile, trying to righten him up.

Okay, so, please check your WhatsApp I sent a link to the group. Mr Williams started, turning to his initial position, before being out a plastic and steel video-shutting supporter, setting up his phone for a video call.

This is really bad news, one that we have not heard in the entire history of Rancho High School. Mr Williams said waiting patiently for everyone to go through the content of the link he just sent.

All this while, everyone was silent for what seemed like an umpteenth, no one altered a single sentence, and only gasping sounds from different persons could be heard. Mr. Kingston wasn't an exception he looked pale as he scanned the information behind the sent link by Mr. Williams, others couldn't help but gasp in astonishment.

What must have transpired, causing such feral behavior from young kids? A male staff member grumbled rhetorically while dropping his phone which had an image of a vault of a young boy who looked his early 15-16 years of age
