Chapter five: He's Sharon's Father?

Everything has been going smoothly and I have been enjoying the school, although I didn't get to play football but I'm still enjoying it here. I've been trying to make new friends and my roommate have been helping too, it isn't that difficult to adapt hmm I do much like it here.
I look up and I saw one of the Fathers coming towards me,I turn around and I saw all eyes on me I realized I have been lost in the world of my own to even notice my environment.the man stopped in front of me "we will also like to know that thing you are thinking about miss..." he said and I smiled awkwardly at him as he asked me to pray I thank my stars the punishment was not more than that I stood up and lead the prayer the way we have been taught.
After that embarrassing moment the new principal came up to address us.

"Wow this is really interesting, I still can believe he has a daughter"I thought to myself as the new principal come up to address us. it still felt somehow to me
flashback
"Hey boy, you've grown a lot" Alex said as he ruffles my hair and I smiled at him while asking him how he has been "are you here on an assignment or on holiday?"i asked him jokingly.
He smiled and answered I'm here for something important, I will be here for quite a while.I'm your schools' new principal" I laughed it off but when I saw that he wasn't laughing I looked at him "Are you being serious right now?" i asked and he nodded "But you don't even have a wife how come you had a daughter?" I asked with widened eye as I thought of something" don't tell me you had a one night stand with a random lady and..." I was cut off but my father who entered the house "Don't mind my son Alex"he said as he take his seat "no not at all he hasn't change he still as inquisitive as he was before" he replied as he smiled "anyways Lucas her name is sharon and I learnt she's your seatmate in class please take care of her for me she doesn't know I'm her father she will know about it later anyways but please don't tell her anything can you do that for me?" I looked at him like he had grown several heads as I tried to wrap my head around what he has just said."wait Sharon Merit is your daughter?"I asked with widened eyes and he nods i want to continue questioning him but my father clears his throat as he signal me to leave the room...

"Are you calling me?" I turned my head and I realized she's was sitting right behind me ,I blink my eye a few times before starting a conversation with her.
I wonder why I haven't realized she had a good personality too, shes friendly and accommodating we talked about few things and a realized she hasn't really make friends and she told me she do play ball in her room because she doesn't have anyone to play with and I asked if i could play with her and she said okay...
"she plays all by herself, she must have been lonely"I said immediately the call went through."urg !! just please make sure she's fine"Alex said on the other side after I narrated all that I learned about her to him ,"What if the new student my dad talked about? I haven't seen the student ?"I said trying to distract him, he told me the student would be resuming later in the week, he said thank you and hangs up.
Somewhere in the country...
"Beauty darling are you done packing?"Mrs Adams asked as she entered her daughter room ,"mom I'm so excited I will see him tomorrow " Beauty said as she packed her things . you just have to be careful, what happened that time must not happen again you are lucky your father didn't know about it no pranks either"her mother warns softly."okay mom, but I can't promise you anything because Lucas is mine and can only be mine " She said.
