Before Shun departed, he felt a connection that had previously been overshadowed by his concentration and hatred. It was the same bond he had with other ethereal arms, but this time, the connection was significantly stronger.
The intertwining trails of aura converged on a hanging scarlet horn, blazing with radiant brilliance, guiding Shun toward it.
Shun knew in his heart that this ethereal arm was unlike any he possessed—it was truly worth coveting. Yet, he wasn't prepared to perceive its full abilities when he pressed his hand upon it.

Shun's eyes widened in disbelief. Jay might be an arrogant and powerful blessed ethereal warrior, but the presence of a complete ethereal arm in his house was unexpected.
In the entire kingdom of Lordrixis, there could only be 100 complete ethereal arms assigned to citizens, and new complete ethereal arms would only appear upon the death of a complete ethereal warrior.
No one else except for Shun could integrate others' ethereal arms into their own, which meant one thing: Jay was unaware of the horn's true nature and had kept it merely as a decoration.
This was reasonable, considering that the ethereal arm remained in perfect condition without fading into dust, the usual fate of a masterless ethereal arm. The reason was simple—Shun's existence connected the horn to himself. He possessed the ability to purloin others' ethereal arms from birth; he just never realized it.
But the ability of this ethereal arm was rather, unreasonable.
[Frenzied Dream]
Class: Complete
Weapon Type: Special
Ability Type: Illusion
The 86th ethereal arm of its time, the echoing melody of Frenzied Dream induces insanity in all who hear it, turning them into mindless, lunatic maniacs.
"A comedic performance, a merciless discord, an amusing torment, a frenzied dream."
Not blinded by the simple description of its ability, Shun realized the potential behind a true complete ethereal arm.
The moment his opponents heard the music of Frenzied Dream, victory and their ethereal arms would already be in Shun's grasp.
The doom Shun desired would be achieved through the flowing melody of Frenzied Dream.
"It's time to put an end to this town, the town that filled me with discrimination and tragedy."

The Next Day
A fateful day for the town of Waveston—henceforth, known as "Madland."
This new name, given in response to Shun's actions, reflected the grim transformation.
Shun took everything with him—people's lives, their ethereal arms, and his endless pursuit of genocide.
Except for one thing.
Shun's miserable, tragic past.
"This is the path I will tread until the end of time."
This horrifying massacre soon reached the ears of Alfred Eldran, the newly appointed king of Lordrixis. Under the guidance and accomplishments of the new king, Lordrixis had maintained its glory and harmony.
But this unexpected event changed everything. The royal council remained in constant disbelief and uncertainty.
The truly horrifying aspect of Shun's ability was that there was no way to locate him, due to the mental barriers all citizens had against ethereal arm storage penetration.
Everyone knew this was merely the beginning of an enormous challenge that threatened the very foundation of the realm and its people.
On the other side, in contrast to the royal council, Shun was filled with determination and certainty.
To protect himself from potential danger, he must enroll in a prestigious academy to shield his identity and assist in the infiltration of the kingdom.
This wouldn't be hard for Shun, considering he had thousands of ethereal arms to choose from.
After a brief moment of thought, Shun found his favorite—a powerful ethereal arm that rationally reflected his true ability.
[Imaginative Reality]
Class: Ascended
Weapon Type: Staff
Ability Type: Creation
Allowing the possessor to overcome the barrier between imagination and reality, creating weapons out of thin air. However, living weapons, objects larger than the possessor, and weapons that could potentially overpower a blessed class ethereal arm cannot be crafted.
"The art of creation—only a god possesses such might."
This chapter was better in my mind, my writing was pretty horrible. The story signals the beginning of a new arc, where Shun will join an academy and continue his journey there.
I just need to clarify something real quick:
Despite the genocide in this chapter, I'm completely against violence and murder. genocide is wrong, and I'm not promoting it in any shape or form. However, unlike me, Shun is not someone that will not do something just because he knows its wrong. The protagonist is a shameless villian without any morals, as I said, this will be a dark story.
Nonetheless, hope you enjoyed this chapter :)
