Whereas this was rather unexpected, all his strive to become a figure that could protect his sister and all he cared about.

How could he do that when he could not even defend himself?

He once had a dream of dying in his sleep; he was weak at the time, but not anymore.

A brutal death of being marched on till he was no more. Hex's mind ranted at the idea of it.
