Shadow Assassin (Dual Attributes)

It is a hard living in the new age of the modern world, on Earth. Especially if you did not have any Abilities; it was the case for Quinn. His parents were ambassadors, and secretly, Assassins working for the 'greater good'. Wars were quite a frequent occurance on Earth, leaving only ravaged remains of the once beautiful planet. Although, the once frequent wars had stopped and the world finally entered a fleeting age of peace, the larger powers were in a deadlock and in high geopolitical tension. The majority of the interstellar planets and bases were owned by Capitalist powerhouses that held only base value in high regards and sought after strong trans-humans: an evolved species of Humans that were compatible with Ability Dews that were found on alien planets and could extract and use different types of supernatural Abilities themselves. Quinn's parents were sent on an obvious su**ide-mission on the battlefront of some planet by the Governance of Earth, to 'fight and serve' their home-planet by fighting off the opposition consisting of a terrorist group called the "Elementals", and secretly, a whole another unknown enemy... Receiving their last, parting gift, Quinn got his hands on something that was completely out of scope for normal Humans, or any other intelligent race that could possibly or ever will exsist. It was of unknown origins when his parents found it, and only he would be the one to discover its true functioning and creator. He would become something that was nothing like a Human... he would forsake his life and living, only to find the truth about the artefact and why it chose him. He would fight enemies of the peaceful inhabitants of Earth in hopes to protect those that he once loved, when he was still Human. Furthermore, he would fight other beings in the shadows of different realms; discover secrets of the Universe and the one above it all. No, not God; nor the Great Old Ones. Nay, not even the Outer Gods. But, the one and only... above creation itself: a dream that birthed it; the Absolute Being. Existing in the Real World, out of this wretched Dream of his. Only by meeting his real origins and awakening, would Quinn be able to escape this accursed cycle that only he knew the truth of; alone, would he protect the mortals... in hopes of protecting only those that he loved.

Energy

'What the fuck, man?!' Quinn placed his hand on his chest, 'Gave me a heart attack... . Where were you? Don't just disappear out of nowhere. Do you even know what the fuck I just went through?'

'I know it very well, ' Void replied, 'Were you that surprised by my presence?'

'No shit. It's just unlike you to do... that, ' Quinn prepared himself to use a type of Energy, 'Anyway... what energy do I use here to burn this shit?'

'Use the Origin Energy. I didn't expect to see both Origin and Demise Energies coexisting inside of one body... . Just maybe...' Void replied before he lost his train of thought, 'Hmph. Active the Energy inside of your soul and think of it as Origin Energy; then metamorphose it into your visualisation of a flame capable of burning just that uniform of yours.'

And that Quinn did. Upon visualisation, a bright yellow-orange flame materialised in reality, roaring virgorously. As he utilised a bit more Energy, the size of the flame grew exponentially, now being almost the size of his head.

"Damn... that's dangerous. Let's just get this over with," he said as he controlled the flame flawlessly, altering its area of effect as it descened on his training uniform, completely covering just the uniform and not leaving any burn marks on the floor except for ashes in the matter of a few seconds.

"That looks really strong, what the hell? It uses so little Energy too—as compared to the amout that I have—!" he continued: "The ashes are a pain in the ass though... ."

'Ah, yes. I should have said earlier, but I told you not to use Demise Energy because it would completely annihilate both the uniform and the floor below it if you do not controll it properly, leaving nothing behind, ' Void explained, 'But, now that I know that you can perfectly control your Energy, I have nothing to fear. We shall use this as a means to... appraise your precision, if you would. Now, using a small amount, cover the pile of ash compeltely with your Demise Energy as I explained earlier. It should absolutely not touch the floor.'

Quinn heeded the instructions and wasted no time in doing as told.

An eerie aura of sorts manifested in the air, but it did not react with anything. Upon meeting the ash, however, as Quinn wished, it completely annihilated the ash, leaving literally nothing behind.

As Quinn was lost in thought, he felt the presence of a person outside of the cubicle. "Ah, right... . Man, can't they just build a few more cubicles in this area? The school's sitting on a shit ton of money either way..." he bickered.

He ran his hand through his hair, moving it out of his sight, and opened the sliding door hastily, jolting the person who was just infront of it, "Kyaaa-!" she screamed.

Quinn did not have the time to check, but in the span of a few days, increasing his level and stats, his body had gone through a tremendous change. Not just his muscles and their proportions, but his whole physique had become like that of an ideal modal, complimenting his already considerably handsome face.

'Right, I'm fuckin' naked. I forgot... . Ahh, fuck. Let's just hope this doesn't fuck me over.'

"Wh-wh-what were you doing in there completely naked-?!" flustered, she covered her eyes with her hands, glancing through the crevices. "Hey, I'm not... completely naked, " he said, 'The fuck?'.

"Anyway, I can't be asked to explain the whole situation, but my uniform's fucked, so I don't have anything to wear as of now, " he clarified, hoping to not cause any misunderstandings, "Now, if you'll excuse me... ."

"Ah-! Wait..." the girl turned around as Quinn passed by her, but he was nowhere to be found, "He's really quick... . Wasn't that Quinn from the Magic Weapon class? I didn't expect him to be so..." her face became flushed.

'Fuck.' Quinn was already back in his dorm room, pressing his head against the door, "Ahhh, fuck me. You think she'll report me or something? Like: 'A weird naked hobo was in the cubicles doing god-knows-what, please help'? Man, I''m so fucked."

'Aaand, he's gone again. Great....'

Shortly after, he heard someone knocking at his door, "Shit, it's the opps-! Pfft-!" he exploded out laughing, "Ahh, man... I'm so fucked. Right, right, I'm coming!"

As soon as Quinn opened the door a tad bit, he was greeted by Sen's goofy face—with an ear-to-ear smile as he forced open the door. "Uwaah!" Quinn, upon seeing Sen's face, screamed and jumped back, "Fuck, you're ugly!"

"Rude, but heya~," Sen said, still harbouring the same expression. "I've wonderful news for you, dude... . We're goin' on a blind date, the two of us!"

'For fucks sake, man... . I can't be asked with this guy... .'

"Hmm? Why're you naked?" Sen finally noticed and asked. "It's a long story. Also, get out of my room, why're you just casually just letting yourself in? Get out."

"The fuck... ." Quinn picked him up by the back of his collar and dropped him outside of his dorm room. "I'm sleeping, " Quinn said out loud.

"Hey, you gotta come tomorrow, though!" Sen said, "At 10 in the morning. Tomorrow. Got it?"

"Whatever-" Quinn closed the door and finally crashed on his bed, "What a wild day... ."
