Sober Up

We fall for each other at the wrong time.

Only for a while

But I don't mind.

Guess, I don't know

where to put the boundaries

But we're doing it again and again.

I love talking to you

And listening to your stories,

To your misadventures in life.

I love hearing your laugh

over my lame joke

It feel so good, so good.

I love seeing your eyes lit up

Whenever you feel excited.

I love how you make me feel so wanted.

I thought we can be perfect for each other

But the timing isn't right

I was too afraid to deepen my feelings

Maybe, I am not yet prepared.

Or perhaps, you don't know how to love me yet.

There are days that we've been so happy like loving you is being able to see the different shades of red.

But there are days that feel so blue as if we were stranger to each other.

Our relationship grew from hot to cold but lukewarm is the saddest point.

And now, I am writing this poem at 2AM.

I wish you were right here, right now

Cause I miss you like crazy.
