A Certain Threat

Aiden picks up the call and says, "Hello. Agent Flynn speaking."

Stone's voice comes from the other side of the call.

"Hello, Mr. Flynn. How's your day?" Flynn gets agitated hearing his voice. He screams, "Stone, you bastard. How dare you do all these cruel things to a 12-year-old kid."

Stone laughs. He says, "Before scolding me, I think you should listen to this." A moment later a feeble voice is heard. The voice said, "Aiden? Aiden, is that you? Aiden boy. These pieces of shit captured me and are holding me somewhere. Don't you dare listen to any of their demands. I've lived my life. It doesn't matter if I die anymore." Stone speaks again, "That's it. You got it right, Mr. Flynn? Come to my orphanage with the kid if you don't want your dad to die. You have till 1200."

Aiden was listening to all this silently. His face was full of anxiousness and helplessness. The call disconnects. Sohel asks, "What happened? That was Stone, right? What did he say?"

Aiden tries to keep a calm face and says, "Nothing. He was trying to unnerve me. Don't worry, I'm fine. You guys should gear up. We're going to apprehend Stone, right?"

Sohel says, "Yeah, right." Sohel orders the rest of the Bravo squad to gear up and leaves the room. After Aiden made sure everyone was inside the arsenal he sneakily went inside the female sleeping quarter. She picks up a sleeping Luna. As he turns around he jumps, seeing Sohel standing at the door and aiming his XM17 at him. Sohel says, "Let the kid down, Aiden."

Aiden silently does so. Seeing this Sohel's aim gets a little soft. But the moment it does, Aiden takes out his Glock and fires at Sohel. Sohel quickly raises his left arm and blocks the bullet. Aiden gets shocked at that and he says, "How?"

Sohel says, "Well.....that's a secret." The gunshot alerted all the bravo squad members. They all come and stand behind Sohel. Seeing Aiden aiming his gun at Sohel, Jacob runs towards Aiden with killing intent. Aiden quickly removes his aim from Sohel and aims at Luna. He says, "Stay right there, Blast. One more step and I'll kill the kid." Luna had also woken up by the gunshot. She was horrified at the sight of a pistol barrel staring at her forehead. Blast stops and looks at Sohel. Sohel blinks, indicating to him to calm down. Sohel asks, "Why are you doing this, Aiden? Why would you betray us now after helping us all this time?"

Aiden yells, "That's not your problem. Let me go, now." He makes Luna stand up by pulling her arm and grabbing him. He says, "Move away? Or else...."

Sohel indicates them to move away. As Luna was passing by Sohel, she looked at him. Sohel says, "Don't worry. Remember my promise. I'll definitely come for you." Aiden goes to the garage and drives away using the KIA. After Aiden leaves, Mitali confronts Sohel, "Why did you let him leave? What'll happen to Luna?"

Sohel doesn't do anything and enters the briefing room. Mitali tries to follow him but fails as he finds the door to the briefing room locked. She turns back towards Naomi, Jacob, and Annabelle, and says, "How are you guys so calm? Why aren't you asking him what's going on?"

Annabelle says, "Mitali, calm down and believe in him. He knows what he's doing."

Jacob says, "You stay in our squad, you trust the boss."

Naomi says, "Mitali, this is the first time you've worked with us as a fellow SNA operator, right? You wouldn't doubt Sohel if you read the reports of our missions in the last five months."

Mitali still wasn't convinced but she decided to stop arguing.

Vinton, Louisiana

The KIA Sportage stops before the orphanage. Aiden gets out of the car and takes Luna. She goes to the office room and sees Stone waiting for him. Seeing him, Stone says, "Welcome, Mr. Flynn. Come in, come in." Aiden lets go of Luna and says, "I've bought her. Where's my dad?"

"Hold your horses, kid. Your dad's in my yacht. Come with me."

Stone gets up and leaves the room. Aiden reluctantly follows.

Holly Beach, Louisiana

6 cars stop on the beach. Stone, Luna, Hunt, and Aiden come out one of them. There were many dinghy's kept on the shore and a huge yacht could be seen in the distance. Aiden again asks, "Where's my dad, Stone?"

Stone replies, "Dad, Dad, Dad. Just shut up already. Hunt, call some to get his dad."

"Yes, commander."

Luna was silently standing in a corner. Seeing a chance she tried to flee. She suddenly grabbed the right arm of the guard standing to her left and twisted it. She jumped on him as he fell and struck him on his neck, turning him unconscious. She started running towards the road. But a gunshot was heard and she fell. She looks at her feet and her eyes widen at the sight of fresh blood oozing out of her right leg. She starts crawling towards the road. But before she could even move a meter, Stone reaches her and stomps on her. Stone grabs her by her neck and picks her up. Luna starts struggling. Stone says, "You were quite the asset. I thought I'd take my time killing you on my yacht. But you just had to go and ruin my fun. Now sit down like a good kid and await your death." At that moment Luna suddenly takes out a butterfly knife from her right pocket and strikes Stone's face. Stone drops her and holds his face with both his hands. He starts screaming. Luna rubs her neck and says, "Remember this knife? It was the same knife you gave me when you first forced me to kill. Even if I die I'll at least kill you before I die."

Stone gets up and picks up his pistol. His face was distorted with rage. He aims the pistol at Luna and screams, "You little bitch. How dare you attack me. I'll kill you right now."

Just before he could pull the trigger A barrage of bullets hit the beach.
