Kintan's Situation

Kintan wakes up with her body has been covered with a thick blanket. In an empty room, there is only a mattress with shades of red and a blanket in black. There is also a nightstand next to the bed, but no cupboard or toilet. One meter from the side of the nightstand, directly connected to the exit. The room was really only filled with these two objects.

There was no one around either.

The girl then glanced at the nightstand beside her, which had already provided a glass of water, a pair of clothes, and a letter.

She then glanced at her own body under the blanket. Kintan gulped when she realized that she was not wearing any clothes. Whether it was what had happened, or what someone else had done to her, she didn't want to think about it at all. But on the other hand, her body did not feel any pain at all. There are no scars, scratches, or soreness in some parts of Kintan's body. She didn't feel it at all.

As far as the girl could remember, she was caught because of her own recklessness. It happened because of the simultaneous announcement made by Hindia, one of Candrasa's subordinates. She remembers very well that after that, she was ambushed by a group of fugitive hunters, and finally unconscious, then when she regained consciousness, she was not wearing any clothes and hanging on a Pole.

Her memory was so vague, she didn't know which parts were just her imagination and which parts were not. At first, she thought she was dead. But, seeing how peacefully she was sleeping on this comfortable bed, and having clothes and drinks. Recalling her last memory before falling unconscious, she could conclude that she might have been saved. Even though she didn't know herself, how long had she been lying in this room.

Whether it was from her own allies or an alien who didn't hate fugitives like her, she didn't know.

Ignoring her own perceptions. The girl finally chose to wear the clothes on the nightstand, of course, after checking all the clothes and making sure there were no strange objects or small creatures in there. After that, she just checked the glass of the drink, but refrained from drinking its contents because she was afraid that it would make her fall asleep again.

Who knew that this was not a rescue but a trap? No one can guess that, right? Kintan doesn't want to make the same stupid mistake again.

After making sure that her body was wrapped in proper clothing, she checked the letter, and read its contents. The letter did not explain where she was and how she came to be in this room, nor did it explain who had brought her here. The contents of the letter only provide instructions on how to get out of the area where she stands, and a request to leave the place immediately.

There is no clear information about who the author is. However, there is one characteristic that makes Kintan able to guess; red ink. The color of the ink is much darker than the color of red ink in general. She could recognize who the owner of the red ink was, even though she didn't know the person's writing style at all. If anything, that person has saved her. Then why did he go and tell Kintan not to linger in the room?

Why is he always like that?

Kintan then took a deep breath and decided to follow the message in the letter without wanting to find out more about the owner of the letter. She then exited the room and walked away without leaving a trace. Kintan was silent when she opened the door, and saw what was in front of her. The door was, frankly, a portal. If she went out and closed the door, then she would not be able to enter again, and would not be able to find the door or the room again.

Even when she tries to touch the same part or tap on the exact same part. She still couldn't find the entrance to the room. Apparently, the room was only created temporarily for Kintan. There are special requirements so that no one enters the room, and even if Kintan leaves, she will still not be able to enter again. The room may have been created not to be entered.

Just as she stepped out. The girl finally understood the contents of the letter about trees, fog, and blue wells, which made her forget that she could no longer find the room that had previously saved her life.

In front of Kintan, there is now a group of banyan trees with blue leaves. A thin fog surrounds the entire area, Kintan can't see clearly at all except for a row of shady trees with blue leaves in front of her. The girl decided to walk up to one of the trees, which in the letter said, there was a well with glowing blue water nearby. When she just realized there was a shadow from the well, her face subconsciously bumped into something.

Kintan raised her head, stared in silence with wide eyes while swallowing saliva when she realized something was hanging in front of her; a leg. She knew very well it was a human leg. Without even daring to touch it, Kintan immediately stepped back to take a closer look. She didn't want her guess to be right, but in fact, it was something she had now seen with her own eyes. There are many human bodies hanging from the roots of the banyan tree. Kintan covered her own mouth as she looked around the tree, making sure that she really didn't see anything wrong.

"Is this how they freeze their favorite meat?!" thought the girl subconsciously.

Watching wrenas and other creatures cut, cook, and eat humans alone made her disgusted. What else with a place like this? One year of living in this world of demons is not enough to make Kintan accept everything around her. She was reluctant to admit such a thing.

"Ignore whatever you see with your eyes, jump into the blue well after you exit the room. You'll come to a place you recognize." Now she understood what the words in the letter meant.

Without thinking, she followed what the letter said. She would not feel at home in the land of fog like this. Kintan swallowed her own saliva as she stared straight ahead, trying to ignore what was hanging in the trees. She then immediately approached the black well and plunged into it. Then, in the second after, suddenly ... she now arrived in front of the portal door L-05.

"That well seems to be a portal to another layer of soil," thought Kintan subconsciously.

At least the L-05 was much safer than the L-06, where she was caught at the time. Here, Kintan can meet someone here. She was able to keep the promise she had broken because of the calamity, and she knew exactly which area she had to visit in order to meet her best friend.

At least there, she could feel safe.

Kintan looked around. The clothes given to her seemed very suitable for disguise. She covered her face with a shawl, while her feet started to move quickly, towards the Green Waters.

Where the blind sirens live.

The hideout of Putra, his old partner.
