Stranger Shanks

Jaffar opened his eyes. He looked at surrounding and found out that he was inside a ship cabin. How could he know about that? The cabin was swaying because of sea waves. Suddenly he heard the door was opened. A fat man with weird google entered while eating chicken leg. Jaffar somewhat vaguely felt familiar with the fat man in front of him yet he didn't remember who he was.

"Oh! You already awoke, kid." The fat man exclaimed. And then he shouted. "That kid already awoke!"

When he was dragged out and met another ship crews, he definitely ever saw them before. But who are they?

"Oh, you seem in hunger. Bring the food!" Someone shouted.

"Aye captain!"

When Jaffar saw who the captain was, he instantly understood why he felt that they were familiar. Originally he was ride one of Yonko's Ship, Red Haired Shanks!

But it didn't overly excited him. He wasn't avid One Piece fans after all. He had a good reason why he remembered about Shanks. Shanks was the only pirate that avoided meaningless bloodshed. Very rare yet honorable figure in One Piece. He didn't care about the rest of crews and immediately devoured the food.

"Hey hey, slow down or you will be choked." Shanks said with smile.

"Can you tell us your name, kid?" A tall figure with riffle on his shoulder asked.

"Me?" Jaffar pointed his nose and then nodded. "My name is Jaffar Anderson. You can call me Jaffar."

"Where's your home?"

"I don't know. I already forgotten about my house." Jaffar said with very normal tone.

The interview session finished with 'I don't know'. Shanks himself also helpless yet interested about Jaffar.

"We will go to Dawn Island, and we will drop you there." Shanks said to Jaffar.

"Em, can you drop me to Hina's Ship? I like to flirt with her. Oh, she is marine captain." Jaffar said shamelessly. Maybe Jaffar forgot about current timeline. Hina obviously just a recruit for now!

The ship suddenly silent. Then laugh outburst everywhere.

"Kid, you're very interesting. Do you know where you are right now?" The fat man asked while occasionally laughed.

Jaffar nodded. "Of course, who is in this world that don't know about Shanks? Are you saying that I'm blind?!"

"Huh? Hahaha!" Laugh rang out everywhere once again.

"Hey Jaff kid. Why must be Hina? And Who is Hina? Are you not interested in Boa Hancock? She is the most beautiful woman on the sea, the pirate empress." The tall man said with full of interest.

"Meh, if you want you can have her. I don't want to be a stone yet. I still virgin after all." Jaffar replied like it was the fact.

"Hahaha, you're really interesting. I'm happy and let's party!" Shanks laughed out loud.

"Aye captain!!!"

Jaffar rolled his eye balls and back to his room.

One week passed. Almost all ship crews know about Jaffar yet Jaffar only remembering Shanks's name. He was worst at remembering someone's name.

"We almost arrive at Foosha Village. Get ready to land!" Someone shouted.

"Sigh, who will take care of me?" Jaffar lamented.

On the port, Shanks and the crews immediately went to the only bar in the Foosha Village. Obviously they went into party once again. The villager looked like didn't afraid of Shanks. They even joined his unreasonable party.

Suddenly a little kid entered the bar and sat beside Shanks, then rambled about being adult and strong. When the beautiful and mature waiter gave the little kid a glass of juice, Shanks and the crews laughed out loud and mocking him.

"Look, you're still a kid! Haha!"

"Ah, right, I remember who that kid are." Jaffar mumbled to himself.

That kid was Luffy, the main protagonist in Oda story. And the story would start now.

Jaffar looked at the window and lost in thought. He had his second life. Would he remained as ordinary? Or he would train and challenge the strong? Let's assumed that he chose the second. What would he choose, pirate, marine, or just a loner? Before Jaffar could hardened his choice, a group of man interrupted the party.

"We are mountain bandit! Give me the protection money and we will left!" A lackey shouted.

Jaffar stunned by his speech. Not because he touched by his speech, but because he vaguely remembered that the mountain bandit didn't say that in the One Piece anime he ever watch. First episode really gave him good impression about Shanks. That's why he remembered some details, vaguely.

The rest of drama was almost same as in the anime except Luffy eat the fruit after the bandit get out from the bar.

He lazily followed Shanks and crew after they realized that Luffy vanished from their sight. Nah, this part really confused Jaffar. How could a Yonko not aware about surrounding? Shanks even had full set of haki. But Jaffar just silent and boringly followed Shanks's group.

In the end, Shanks lost his right arm for protecting Luffy. He gave Luffy his straw hat and let Luffy chase his dream.

Of course not! Jaffar got a place to sleep in the bar. Yes, Jaffar was following Makino. To ensure his stomach wouldn't grumble, he worked at the bar as janitor.

This world was unreasonable world. At least it was perspective from Jaffar former world. Jaffar knew that he had potential, or he believed that all mankind had potential. So, he trained his body until all his body felt pain. He used Saitama training menu as startup. And because of his training, he got a nickname "Robot Janitor". His muscles was in pain yet he couldn't abandon his only source of food. Makino even persuaded him to reduce his training intensity, but he firmly said that if he not strong enough, he couldn't get beautiful marine captain as his wife.

Jaffar also occasionally playing with Ace, Sabo, and Luffy. Only occasionally, because he didn't want to be infected by their stupidity. Even he wasn't avid fans, he know about two brothers stupidity. It was widely known after all.
