Chapter 285

Walking to the exact spot her father had used the skill, she practiced the same thing but the first two times she couldn't get a hold of it but the third time it was successful but it took a lot of her energy. "I had only thought he had used the skill just on Eva, I never knew he used it on the whole house " But thankfully it was successful. It was true that when the old man does something no body could undo it but she later realized that he had made her prowess the same as his. She understood this when she laid a visit to the mountain where he had been living.

"That's better, I would get into action about the memories. " Lylic said leaving immediately. Even if Eva wakes up she wouldn't be able to get out of bed since it happens that she had been in bed without getting up her bones and body must be so sore that she wouldn't be able to raise a finger.

This made a lot of things far more easier than expected. The journey was not as smooth or steady as they had expected. There were a lot of bumpy roads that almost gave one the feeling of giving up. Clara and Beatrice felt so dizzy and nauseated but they couldn't loosen their grips on the old man. This was part of the reasons why travelling to the heavenly realm was beyond one's reach.

There was still a lot of distance ahead before they could reach their main destination but it seemed Elyrex and the old man were enjoying the ride far better than they had imagined.

****Eva could help but stretch out her limbs. She found things very difficult and couldn't find a reasonable explanation for it. She tried to get off the bed but felt so terrible it was like she had just been run over by a train. The last thing she remembered was Lylic coming over to the room to get Steve. "Finally you are awake" Eva was shocked to hear those words coming from the lady who had barely spoken a word to her when she first made her appearance. The first time she did say much was when she came for Steve. Lylic didn't feel awkward in any way, she was indeed very pleased beyond anyone's imagination, she had a very tough mission to accomplish and that was to feed Eva with a new memory detail which wasn't much of a deal, she could have that implanted in no time.

"I brought you a cup of tea" Lylic said handing over a cup of hot tea to her. Eva was still in a daze, she still didn't understand what was happening and it was still very very hard to adjust to it. But she couldn't be rude to someone who was extending her hand of friendship, so she accepted the tea from her and drank it. In less than a minute, Eva fell asleep and this left Lylc enough time to complete her Job.

Selom on the other hand as fast as nowadays she felt strangely dizzy and would get tired easily so her best option was putting herself to sleep and this helped a lot. She was also some what disturbed in a sense that she's already about 7 months pregnant and her child hasn't found a room to reach out to her. When she was asleep Steve sat beside her the reader a foot massage after the incident with the old man Steve became someone who spoke less. He had recalled what his mom had said about her and he had to say this made him worried. It was his duty as an elder brother to watch over his younger sisters. At this stage of her pregnancy he knew what she liked the most, she loved the feeling of being treated as a queen.

 And he was very shocked himself to find out that Roselle was behind all this. His memories were as fresh as yesterday, he remembered breaking the news to the young women he didn't even know she was his sister. After giving her the news he remembered how she laughed about it and gave him the stupid kind of look which had the 'you can't be serious ' tagged on it as well. After finding out that it was his younger sister, he shared her pains with her and tried finding everything out relating the whole issues. 

Now look at how time flies, she is already 7 months gone and has a swollen leg all thanks to the child's growth. He tried putting himself in her shoes but he couldn't, because he knew better than anyone else that she was trying her best to be so strong for herself, her family and her soon to be born child. He seemed to have changed after his powers were taken away from him, he felt like a part of him was lost. He couldn't really explain the feeling, ever since he was growing up he felt he had the responsibility of protecting his sister against any source of harm or evil but now he felt he didn't have any right to. "I wonder why you think so much, the massage was going well untill someone twist my big thumb without knowing" Selom said giving his a warm smile

(Laughs) "You know what I want so bad?" He couldn't help but ask

"What is that?" Selom said stretching lazily

"I want you to feel very free with me just like Roselle and Lylic. I blame myself for being so distant with you. I am so sorry" He apologized sincerely. This was indeed his wish 

Selom suddenly felt like tearing up "There's no need to apologize to me, it's not your fault at all. I made the decision myself and just wanted to stay away so as to avoid trouble. Then Roselle felt very insecure about me when I was around and I felt it wasn't good. I had already made things worse but I didn't want to add more fuel to the fire, I didn't want our relationship to get too sore. I didn't want her to feel that I was taking away those she cares about that's why I lost contact with everyone but deep down I knew she would realize everything at the right time and I think she did but it had to come with a pregnancy " Selom said chuckling. " I could have reached out to you like we were when we were kids but I didn't want to for the best reasons " she said with a sigh 

"I know but I didn't do any better either, so brother is in the wrong and I deeply apologize to you"

"Stop apologizing it's all right, we are now together and you can put in more effort because as you can see I am too pregnant to think too much about how to make things up with you" she said with a smile

(Laughing) "I can see that? But how did you feel when you knew she was behind it?"

(Laughing) "To be sincere, I was shocked and speechless for just a moment but after thinking about it carefully it became normal. The roselle I knew would have done worse just to get back at me but she didn't (smiles) This only means her life for me was greater and she herself wasn't aware of this. It's not a new thing back then in the entertainment industry. She was clearly my enemy and would speak bad about me during private interviews on different TV shows. I took all that just because I knew she was hurt and she was finding a way to let it all out and I was happy she chose me. Now, the pregnancy got us closer than ever and this bond would never break, so it was all worth it. The almighty Roselle let all her businesses and cane to spend some free time with me, that was really unbelievable. We all know how cold she is " This was Actually the first time Selom had said so much in her conversation with Steve.

"That's true, she becoming a whole new person and I feel good about it"

"Yeah, I like the new change as well. You don't look good with those dark circles below your eyes. I think it's high time you go and take a nap but before that you can soak yourself into a hot bath for five minutes " Selom advised

"I just have a lot going on in my mind, a nice hot bath would do me so much good and it would help drive away stress. I think I would get on with that" Steve said with a warm smile, he immediately gave her a warm hug and rose to leave her room heading towards his room.

Finally the room was empty, Selom looked around the room for some few minutes. "You can come out now!" She instructed

"Boss, you keep looking so beautiful as the days go by." Williams said with a smile, he had been in hiding for quite some time.

"What news do you have for me?" She asked

"I had done as you instructed and I think you are not the only one searching for the whole details. There are others who are currently interested in the same feed, I found so many from different sources" He explained

(Smiles) "Looking for ?"

"Missing sperm sample" he replied " There were some set of men lately who were going around the hospital asking if there was a snap or change in samples before the commencement of the whole process. And there were some I found, searching for unknown records" he explained. 

"Things are getting more interesting , I don't know but I have a Strong feeling that We've all been played by someone"

After she was done talking to Williams he immediately disappeared while she got out of bed to take a shower. Getting out of her bed took her about half an hour. Things were getting difficult by the day but she kept holding on with all her might. After she was done it was high time to go down for breakfast but she couldn't bear walking down the stairs like she was a normal human being she just couldn't, she could roll down the stairs due to exhaustion and she didn't have the habit of having to eat alone in her room. "where are you?" She created a mind link

"I am currently in Eva's room, I came to feed her with some good refreshing memories. Because I am sure you would not be able to bring out a meaning explanation of how she slept for so long " she said through the mind Link

" That's through, do hurry up I am so hurry and I have to go downstairs "

"Quickly find Roselle, she wouldn't be busy at this time"

"Sure but Steve should be in his place now, so you should tidy up your mess before he comes. It seems what grandpa did changed him a little, he feels and acts differently now" Selom said with a long sigh

"That would change everyone " After Lylic was done talking she immediately cut off the mind link.

"You are a very bad teacher, take that as a compliment" Sammy couldn't help but complain. The old man has been making things entirely too difficult for him to handle. And anytime he got a skill or technique wrong he would get a massive hit from the old man. It was already getting exhausting.

(Laughing) "Sammy Darling, don't get distracted just focus and I know you would get everything right now" Lily cheered him on. They were all in the field where the old man was fond of playing golf but now it wasn't golf it was physical training. His grandmother was also present at the scene , she was beside the tree having a nice time, she would sip in her tea little by little savouring its taste. On her left hand was a novel she found fancy too. But despite being distracted by the book she was also serious with the training, she wasn't missing any movement at all.

"Grandma he is doing this all on purpose, his hits are so terrible and massive" he complained

(Laughing) Lily couldn't help but laugh, this same scene had reminded her of something very important. "You need to have seen what your father had gone through in the hands of this old man. You are lucky to learn from the beat in such a way. as for your father, he got himself some broken bones and he couldn't walk for weeks due to the massive damage"

Hearing this Sammy immediately shivered he wasn't expecting this at all. It seems he was lucky. He suddenly thanked God that the old man wasn't his birth father but he was just a grandfather. Who knows what would have happened then?

"The thing you should learn is never get distracted in a fight. When you do you lose the fight" The old man said charging fully at him . Luckily for Sammy he came to his senses on time and blocked the hit with all his might . Getting distracted was nothing but a sign of weakness and this gives the enemy an edge over you.

 Lily still had no idea about the contract between her husband and her grandson; what she was most worried about was expelling the poison out of Sammy completely. And the only person who could help her with that was her husband. She came to understand that he had used the poison on him for a good cause but the way he went all about it was wrong. He was doing the right thing at the wrong time and in the wrong way. If he had confided in her, she would have brought out a different approach to the matter, not the brutal approach he chose Though he had found a good way to apologize for his bad doings and she had long forgiven him.

 Lily had a lot going on in her mind, there were many issues she had to settle and she also had to strike a balance in her home. That was why she didn't go too far from them, she had to sit and observe things properly to make sure her Sammy didn't get hurt. He was the last kid in the house so yes of course he was treated differently. He was more like the baby of the house that was why he always had preferential treatment. 

She always had to be on the look out for him. She also started to search about the girl her Sammy was already in love with. She did it behind his back she just had to give him a little push after all a little help wouldn't kill. She did it so discreetly because she didn't want him to find out about it, if he did he might get very Angry with her but what could she do she couldn't help it. Hearing the ring tone from her phone she had a bright smile on her face but she had to excuse herself, she didn't want the men knowing about what it was she was up to. "Sam tell me you've got some good news for me" She said  This was the call she had been expecting for a long time. She had a strong feeling that whatever it was, she would be thrilled by it.
