A cure

Odin looked at the blueprint for his future power armor and smiled. What hard taken cawl ten thousand years to improve Odin had done it in two weeks. It still wasn't done, though he wasn't satisfied Odin wanted more information so he could improve his armor.

Odin had also thought of a few variants, and one of them was very special. Taking inspiration from the Necrons and the twin Primarchs of the 20th legion, he made a suit made for his future space marine commanders.

Once he could make his own marines and he had found the best of the best from his own legion, he would give them this armor. Once he had enough knowledge of the soul, he would find make this suit hold half of the veteran marines' soul. If the marine were to ever fall in combat, the suit would take the dying half soul and send it to the other armor, allowing him to be revived in a new form.

Of course, currently, he had little knowledge of souls. The knowledge he did came from his Baphomet gene and his connection to his soul from after the talisman enhanced him, but it was very little that it was useless right now.

"I also need to make different bolter variants. I really need that golden age tech." Odin muttered.

"Wait, hope you said you reverted the war back to when it was during the war in heaven, right?" Odin asked.

"Yes." the Guardian answered.

"That means the rift was closed, right?"

"Yes, but considering that the rift allowed the emperor to regain himself a bit, I had to reopen it but also put a barrier to stop anything from leaving or entering it. The only exception is warp energy to help the emperor."

"Oh yeah, I forgot the emperor is kinda split right he's like multiple personalities I wonder how he feels like when he met Guilliman he was so cynical but who wouldn't when you see what humanity became the emperor became the imperium and the imperium became the emperor as one rots so does the other." Odin said solemnly

The door to his workshop opened and in came three people: Greg, Ulven, and Sigrid. Greg and Ulven's expressions looked natural as they had seen the workshop already but Sigrid was in awe at the many types of machinery in the room, but that awe soon turned to confusion then to realization and finally to anger as she saw her stolen knight.

Odin noticed this and quickly pressed on the table, and a black tablet appeared.

"Sigrid Vann, it is a pleasure to meet you I hope you're not mad at me for borrowing this knight but I needed it for my research here this should be enough compensation for you it has all the data and improvements for your knight." Odin said as he handed the tablet to Sigrid.

Sigrid held her words and looked at the contents of the tablet and became amazed at the amount of information it contained. With this knowledge, her house could make new knights as time went. Her house had forgotten the knowledge to make knights even with reverse engineering. It was nearly impossible to make.

At this point, she didn't even care about her stolen knight. She could make thousands now with this technology. She was happy that her knight had been stolen. She looked up at Odin, her eyes filled with infatuation.

'You know I always wanted a milf to be interested in me, but I came at the worst time. I see why that human in the 5th millennia killed God now.' Odin thought as he backed away.

"I don't mind. I was just worried, but I see it's in good hands. If you need anything, just tell me, of course. I hope you can share the data?" Sigrid said.

"Of course, it's only right too." Odin said as he turned around and walked to his workbench.

'Crisis averted.' Odin thought as he sat down.

"Also Greg, how's the project going?" Odin asked.

"Well, I can't really say we are making progress, but we still haven't made contact. I feel we will need to send relays outside of the star system to get better range." Greg said.

"This system exit range is 123 AU away, the same as the Sol system it took voyager 44 years to get there, so we need to make something faster, but I think you can find a way, right?" Odin said.

"Yes, I can use the engine blueprints from the interplanetary ships to help. I estimate it would only take a month or two to leave the system with them." Greg said, as he turned to leave.

"Remember, tomorrow ill be helping you return to your youth but don't have your hopes up, it's still experimental!" Odin shouted.

"Yeah, don't worry!" Greg shouted back.

"Now, while I would love to talk to you two, I'm really busy. If you need anything tomorrow by dusk, ill be free, so see you guys later." Odin said as he turned around to his workbench.

Sigrid and Ulven left Odin to his own devices as they talked about the tablet.

"Now, let's see what I can do with you." Odin said as he took out a vial of blood that had the words lyssa virus taped on it.

"Let's cure rabies, this will be my contribution to my earth." Odin said as he tapped on the workbench and the instruments changed.

Odin covered himself with his armor and got ready to make a cure for rabies.

(the chapter is kinda short sorry about that but I hope this fills you up a bit I'm so tired I'm going to take a nap see you guys tmr! 😁)
