Kai could only watch as the old man stood by respectfully with his hands clasped in front of him. After he had re-introduced himself, he apologized to Kai for not recognizing such a 'magnificent talent' and even for asking him to go on such a dangerous errand.

Kai quickly understood the old man's motives when he started asking more questions about his alchemy methods and whether or not Kai had a secret family technique. Kai wasn't lying when he said that he used the basic alchemy method to craft the pills.

The only difference was that he used Qi-Rotation on the finished pills to increase their quality. He obviously wouldn't share this information freely, so he packed up his pills before the old man had a chance to ask more questions.

"Are there any other Master-Alchemist in Huang City?", Kai asked carefully.

The old man was now a lot more respectful and even remained standing while Kai was still seated, which actually made Kai a bit uncomfortable.
