The golden rays of the sun give energy to those who are under it. It gives joy to the people who appreciate the light it provides and the plants and trees who enjoy its blessings.

Right at this moment, a couple is holding each other's hand as they lovingly walk through the park as if they are the only people existing in the world.

One could tell that both of them truly love each other and that they are very happy right now.

Yu Bai has a big grin on his face because for the first time he could enjoy this walk with his lovely and gentle wife. Last night and this morning was a great experience for him. After the great lovemaking comes to the show of his affection and his love for her.

He decided that today, he would go all out. He would treat her like a queen, but of course, it should still be along the line of him being an ordinary worker with a lot of savings.

Meanwhile, Ma Mian suddenly has this confidence inside of her. Last night was something else, it was the craziest night she had felt in her entire life. She was worried, anxious, and happy at the same time. She did not know if Yu Bai would notice who she really is and that her secrets would be divulged.

But how could Yu Bai concentrate on those things when he himself was already out of control?

So now the two of them seem to have freed something deep in their hearts and wanted to enjoy this time together.

The two decided after their walk to go shopping together. Yu Bai accompanied her as she enters one shop after the next and tried many clothes. Ma Mian seems to have forgotten that she is not Ma Liling at this time and suddenly takes out a black card when she was paying.

When she saw the card, her expression suddenly changed and her eyes immediately darted in Yu Bai's direction. Luckily for her, Yu Bai is looking outside of the shop looking a bit bored.

She takes out her other card and tried to swipe it, but it seems that the money on that card is not enough.

"Damn, I forgot to replenish my card." She thought.

She was a bit hesitant when a woman behind her suddenly said in a sarcastic tone.

"Such country bumpkin, why would you choose to buy expensive clothes when you can't afford them? Stand to the side, you're delaying us," she said with a sneer.

Her voice is not too loud but enough for the people in the shop to hear her. Of course, Yu Bai heard this and he immediately stood up.

Yu Bai could not let his lovely and gentle wife be bullied, so he wanted to be a man and protect her. But as soon as he takes a step forward, Ma Mian looks at him and shook her head.

Yu Bai knew what she meant but how could he just let her suffer? He just walks beside her and held her hand.

"And who's this? Your boyfriend? Another country bumpkin! Hahaha…" the woman laughed sarcastically.

When Yu Bai saw the woman, he seems to have read why this woman is in this state. She seems to be irritated and vexed by something, and she is just venting it all out towards the first person who annoyed her. And unluckily Ma Mian was her target.

From Ma Mian's cheap clothes, her attire, and her thick-framed glasses, she really looks like some bumpkin. When Yu Bai walks beside her, the two of them look like a couple that could easily be bullied, so her temper flares up further.

Yu Bai also noticed that what made her became angrier is when she saw him holding Ma Mian's hand. It's like a short-fused bomb that was lit and it suddenly exploded.

"If the two of you did not have money, then go somewhere else and stop annoying me." She said with a sneer.

Though Yu Bai saw those signs, he is not someone who would take an insult just like that and in front of his wife. So he did not say anything and just handed a black card to the cashier.

When the cashier saw the card, her eyes suddenly went wide in disbelief. This is because that is a Black Diamond card membership. Only those in the higher-ups of the Jiaolong Company which this shop belongs to carries those cards.

With her shocked expression, she wanted to immediately call for her manager to further accommodate her customers. But who would have known that the manager is already standing beside her at this time?

"Umn… Excuse me, sir. We are sorry for the trouble that this may have caused you. I assure you that you will get more preferential treatment." The manager said while gesturing for the cashier to accept the card.

After swiping, the two did not bother with anyone and just left the shop carrying the things that Ma Mian bought.

The people inside the shop were a bit dumbfounded at what had happened. They suddenly began to point their fingers at the woman who has a pale complexion on her face. She did not expect to see that card, she is well aware of what kind of card was that.

That was the Black Diamond Card, and it only belongs to some top brass in the Jiaolong Corporation. Her husband, though they are rich only has the regular black card. Now she is worried if really offended someone she should not have.

She is now regretful of the way she acted. Just because she discovers her husband having a mistress, she wanted to spend her time shopping to lessen her anxiety and depression. But who would have known that her temper would flare up at this moment? She was really too lucky that those two did not confront her.

Right at this moment, while walking away from the shop, Ma Mian had a bit of suspicion in her eyes.

She knew that black card with a diamond label on it; it was something that only those rich men could have. How come her husband had one of those?

Yu Bai suddenly turns around and looks at his wife with an apologetic look on his face.

While walking he has already pieced out all the information in his mind on what to say.
