My Double Shift

10 55 AM

Me and henna wrapped up all our luggage. We packed the clothes for laundry also, the things we did shopping before, also managed to get there places at our cupboard. Lily was still laid on her bed talking with us. I can see something is wrong with her maybe she got a little temperature. I went to our side kitchen and looked for some eggs but we are short of eggs and bread. All we have is butter for breakfast.

"Henna let's just go to Walmart now" I asked her so she got up and picked up the bag of clothes for laundry. She said that she will do it in our way. Ok that's a good idea to let it all done at once.

We went to Walmart bought eggs, bread, jam and also some rameyon.

Then we also bought some medicines for lily fever.

Henna stopped for doing laundry so I went straight to my dorm to prepare breakfast for us.

I opened the dorm by putting a passcode.

🔊 The bell ringed and I went inside. I put my shoes aside and wore my slippers.

" I'm home" I said loudly but lily doesn't seem around as she was in the restroom.

I was at the bar job. I went to the bar at 6 pm and worked for three hours, as I can't do a late night job but I guess I need to look for another one. I can also get a lot paid if I agreed to work till 12 am at night but one of the reason is that this place become too publicly social when it gets to midnight so I hate that. Also, sometimes the late night worker has to wait for every single customer to went off because they are too drunk to manage by their own so I can't afford to do that.

Today my story customer seems to be a little older than me but totally broken,

Obviously most of the people came here after being fed up from their lives.

"sir it's a bit too much for you to drink! Are you sure you can hold your liquor?" I asked by giving him another shot of drink that he recently asked for.

" I'm really good at it" he said.

"So what do you think these drinks can bring you out from real life tensions? I asked with curiosity.

" this drinks can bring you something more than that!" he said.

" what?" I asked.

" Motivation" he said.

I started laughing normally on what he said. It was too new to hear.

Then my phone ringed

"Excuse me I have to take this call" I asked for his permission just because we are not allowed to attend calls when we are on managing with a customer.

"Yeah sure" he said.

I walked towards the back where many of bottles were hanging in a sort of decoration.

"Henna how's lily doing?" I asked.

"She's better now , actually I wanted to tell you something" she said.

"What?" I asked with curiosity

"I visited the place of add and they hired me" she was excited

"Really? Congrats" I said cheeringly

"And guess what" she was much more excited to tell the next thing

"What?"

"They also agreed to hire you for two hours job" I was really glad to hear that.

" Oh really? That's sounds great"

"You might me busy right now" she said by as she know my current situation of job.

"yeah we will talk later bye" I hanged up.

It was great news I heard about. But this kind of struggling of job should be quit near the exam as I have one more real career to focus on. But right now I wanted to earn extra savings as much as I can.

"So where were we sir?" I asked.

"At motivation" he replied right away.
