Aftermath

Chapter 57

The battle between two strong groups has finally concluded, there first meeting had Ren's group in a painful defeat, two groups both fought their hardest but one must go down, and one must move onward in the end.

When Anima cast one of her strongest spell, all of the innocent people in the planet were now gone, except for Ren's group because Emilia managed to cast a protection spell in time.

The sun was now setting in the distance and it finally marked the end of the fight. both Theresa and Ren were laying unconscious on the ground and still has blood on their body and clothes.

While Amon, Emilia, Natan, Rey, Morrigan, and Akuma were still unconscious laying on the ground. the barrier that Theresa cast on the rest of the group were now gone.

Morrigan was slowly waking up from her slumber, her eyes finally see light in the sky, she slowly sit up from the ground and took several second on what happened.

"What the hell happened? why is it so peaceful and quite? my body is still stained with blood." she said in a tired voice, then she notice that Akuma and Rey was laying next to her while the family were together and still resting.

"All of us are still stained with blood." she notice that Ren and Theresa were the only one was missing. "Were the hell are those two?" she then decided to wake up Akuma to find Ren and Theresa.

"Akuma! Akuma!" she said while shaking him. "Akuma! wake up!" after shaking him for a couple of second Akuma finally woke up. he's perspective only saw Morrigan's beautiful and bloody stained face. "Your finally awake." she smiled.

Akuma then sit up and quickly hugged Morrigan. "Are you alright? what happened to you?" Morrigan's face expression was confuse, shocked, relief and her cheeks was slightly red.

"Um.. I'm alright." she then suddenly broke the hugged. "But that's not the point why i wake you up." she said.

Akuma was confuse on what she meant. then he looked around and see it's already morning time, and so peaceful even tho they had the most bloodies fight in their lives.

"What the hell happened when we were knocked out?" he said.

"Don't know, that's why i woke you up to try to find my sister and Ren." both of them slowly stand up.

"Should we wake up your nephew? i mean she's your sister son after all, and she might start looking for her son." he said.

"Sure let's wake him up." Morrigan kneeled down and started shaking Rey's shoulder, after a couple of minutes of shaking his shoulder, he finally woke up.

"Hello Rey did you have a nice rest?" she said in a lovely voice with a smile. Rey then quickly sit up and started looking around him.

"W-where are we? are we still alive?" he said in a confuse/panicked and fast voice. "Where's Mom and Dad? did we won? did they die?"

Morrigan then notice that Rey was shaking, so she went to his side and started calming him down. "Hey calm down, your mom and dad are fine, and were not dead, so don't panicked and start taking a few deep breaths."

Rey started calming down and started taking some deep breaths, after a couple of minutes of taking some deep breaths, Rey was finally fine and calm. "Auntie what happened here?"

"Well... i don't exactly know either, maybe your mom and dad managed to defeat the enemies (But then again if they managed to defeat those monsters, why is it so peaceful? it was like nothing ever happened, but the kingdom is in ruins)"

Rey then stand up. "Auntie can we go find mom and dad?"

"Well... that why i woke you up to help find Ren and Theresa. so come on let's go find them." after that the three of them fly above in the air to find Theresa and Ren.

After a couple of minutes went by, they still can't find the two dragons, they were so many destroyed buildings, and many small craters created. but the three of them were wondering that they were no people un sight.

Morrigan then managed to spot two people laying on the ground. "There!" she pointed, then she went down towards them, then Akuma and Rey quickly followed Morrigan down.

The three of them landed on the ground, next to Ren and Theresa. the three of them notice that they're eyes were wide open but it was blank white, like their pupils were gone, and their mouths were drooling with blood.

"SISTER!!" she yelled in a panicked voice. she then held Theresa by her arms and started shaking her. "HEY!! WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU!!"

"OI REN WAKE UP!! WAKE THE FUCK UP!!" Akuma yelled and started shaking Ren aggressively, while Rey just stand their with wide open eyes in fear knowing he might lose his parents.

Ren and Theresa weren't waking up from the aggressive shaking, so the both of them checked if there heart is still pulsating.

They both checked and they managed to hear a faint pulse. so Morrigan quickly carried Theresa by the shoulder and Akuma did the same to Ren. "Come on Rey there still alive."

Rey felt relief when he heard that, then the three of them fly above again to go back too the group. they both notice that Amon, Emilia, and Natan were awake looking around so confuse on what happened.

They quickly went down hard on the ground and it startled the family. *Crashed!* Amon, Emilia, and Natan quickly raised there guard up they thought it might be one of the five. but when the smoked cleared they saw Morrigan carrying Theresa, Akuma carrying Ren, and Rey.

"M-Morrigan? Theresa and Ren?!" Emilia yelled. Morrigan and Akuma quickly but gently put them down. "The hell happened to them?!" said Amon in panicked voice.

"Don't know, hey Emilia can you heal them?!" Morrigan quickly replied. Emilia then quickly cast a magic circle below Ren and Theresa, using her remaining energy left on them.

"There that's a healing circle they should wake up now." the six of them waited for several minutes, but Theresa and Ren's eyes were still blank white, now it's just the waiting game before they wake up, but Radon's group were are they now?
