Chapter 2

Standing atop of a bed was a young man with black-red hair that was dressed in pajamas.

The young man opened his eyes revealing his black orbs that looked blankly at the roof.

He squinted his eyes a little at the sight of an unfamiliar roof and slowly got up on his butt.

The man who woke up was actually Kazumasa who was confused about his situation.

'I was expecting to be dead, I even accepted it for a moment there.'

He looked around the room he was in and saw that it looked normal.

'Whose room is this?'

Even though he woke up in this room dressed in pajamas as if this was his house, he had no idea where he was right now.

He got up on his feet and put on the slippers that were on the floor and looked through the whole apartment.

Once he got in front of the mirror that was standing in the hallway, he stopped and frowned while looking at himself.

He frowned out of confusion.

"I'm young?!"

He got used to seeing his middle-aged self so he was surprised to see the young version of himself in the mirror.

While he was dazed, his eyes went blank and he started falling towards the ground.

*THUD*

Kazumasa fell to the side with all of his weight hitting the floor violently, showing no resistance to the act of falling.

After standing on the ground for a few seconds, his eyes went back to normal and he held his head while sitting on the ground.

'Ugh!

These memories aren't mine!

What the hell happened?!'

He got some memories of a person who had a similar background to his and the same name.

But there were some differences.

Like how the original owner of this body didn't engage in major criminal activities like the current inhibitor.

He tried calming down and he, himself was surprised that he could!

He wasn't expecting himself to be able to think rationality in this situation but he was actually doing so.

He confirmed that in this life he really was just a normal civilian.

His current occupation was that of a freelancer since he was looking for a job his only qualification being his high school diploma.

He had no real family since he grew up as an orphan and his only hobby being practicing some martial arts he found interesting.

'What a boring life he's lived.'

Kazumasa made a calm assessment with a stoic look on his face while looking at himself in the mirror.

Compared to him, the previous owner of the body was just a nobody even though they shared the same name and looks.

The difference in life experience, way of thinking and physical ability was like heaven and earth.

He picked up the weights that were in front of the mirror and picked them up while looking at them.

'This guy's strength decent for someone without a strict training regime.'

Before becoming the executive he was in Trojan and commanding countless men, he was a normal lackey himself.

Encountering countless dangerous situations that ranged from fighting people that had knives, bats and even guns, made him able to become who he was today.

Thinking about the early days of his criminal activity brought him a strange feeling.

He made a lot of friends in that time period and lost even more.

And after having to even kill some of his really close friends, he became even colder than he was before.

After thinking about his current lifestyle, the funds that the orphanage gave him were starting to get less and less so he had to do something.

So he naturally thought about making some money.

Out of nowhere, he heard a notification coming from his phone that was in his pocket.

He took the phone out of his pocket with a stoic expression and saw the source of the notification.

A weird app called "Universal Chatting".

He tried to close the weird app by exiting it but he found himself unable to do so.

Even after pressing the power button on the phone, it didn't close.

'Weird.

Has my phone been hacked?'

Even though his phone was possibly lacked, his heart rate was normal.

It didn't impress him in the slightest.

He gave up on closing the phone and just pressed on the "ok" button that was on the screen without bothering to read what was written on it.

He saw that he entered an empty group chat with the first text being:

[Scumbag has created the chat group.

Scumbag has been assigned as administrator as the only current person inside the group.

Would you like adding more members?

YES/NO]

He skimmed over the text and just pressed yes without thinking too much about it.

But a smirk appeared on his face seeing the nickname that was appointed to him.

He's been called a things worse than a scumbag and cursed at most of his life, a title like that could be said to be actually very generous.

After about ten seconds multiple new text appeared.

[Ruthless General has entered the chat group.]

[Goblin Slayer has entered the chat group.]

[Diabetic Samurai has entered the chat group.]

[Gambling Addict has entered the chat group.]

Looking at these weird nicknames Kazumasa was a bit taken aback.

The names that confused him the most were the first three.

But he decided to leave that aside for now and see what was going to happen next since he was kind of intrigued by the development.

[Diabetic Samurai: What's up with this weird device and why am I able to use it so easily?

What's this group shit?

And why is my nickname 'Diabetic Samurai' ?!

I haven't been diagnosed with diabetes yet!!]

Kazumasa looked with at the phone screen with a stoic expression and thought. 'Awfully talkative for someone who's supposed to be a samurai.'

[Ruthless General: Who are you people?

Whoever snuck this device into my room is going to be executed.]

Kazumasa's eyes narrowed and he thought. 'Now this is a more fitting personality for the nickname.'
