Chapter 2

(13 years later)

Yellow everyone, it's me, Ira, it's been 13 years I'm 17 years old now and I'm in the wonderful year of 2017 in Cincinnati Ohio and my new life is fantastic.

I am 6 feet 4 inches with an athletic build, not some skinny wuss like in my old life plus hehehe I'm hot like supermodel hot with clear porcelain-like skin I have dark hair and dark eyes all the ladies want a piece of me I even cashed in my V card from my old life hehehe.

I'm top of my class and the ace of the baseball team and I'm a good kickboxer I always wanted to try martial arts but I never had the body for it my parents adore me they are always bragging about the neighbors about me and my achievements.

My new life here is amazing It's just like the world I was in before history-wise that is it's more like I time traveled than reincarnated so academics were easy I was in college when I died so school was a piece of cake.

Dying never work out so well before but for me, it's been incredible nothing could go wrong I know I'm jinxing myself by saying it but who the hell cares hahaha?

I'm walking home from school when all of a sudden I feel dizzy, oh crap I just had to jinx myself didn't I why god why. I then collapse on the sidewalk and wake up on some rocky beach.

What the hell did I die again no wait I'm in my own body still wearing my green sports jacket with puffy leather sleeves and my ripped jeans I get up and see nothing but rocks for miles.

where am I was I kidnapped no that's stupid then where are the kidnappers so this has to be another world I mean it must be because last I check the moon isn't broken into pieces and the sky wasn't red plus the oceans were not black it feels like water but it looks like Pepsi probably not safe to drink either.

I started walking farther inland the grounds were solid dark grey rock no soil or plant life at all this place is nothing but a wasteland I kept walking for about an hour until I see something weird it was a giant flower it has red petals and a thorn-covered purple stem I look all over the ground and see many whip-like vines this thing is obviously dangerous I try backing away but I step on one of its vines then it starts moving.

Shit, its vines quickly surround and cover me there full of thorns that tear up my skin I howl in pain and I can't help but cry I never experienced such unimaginable pain the flower opens up to reveal a large mouth with many teeth this thing a carnivores plant like a venus fly trap I'm fucked it's gonna eat me I'll die again.

No no no no no no I'm not gonna die again my life was finally perfect I had my dream body and a bright future I lost my virginity I don't know where or how I got here but I will not die I pull away from the vines and free my right hand and punch the flower with all my might it screeched and bent over but its grip on me tightened but I catch a glimpse of a fleshy pulsating mass in the back of its throat it looks like a heart.

I plunge my fist into its mouth, of course, it bites down but I push through it and grab its plant heart and pull with all my strength I feel it rip from its maw then I crush it like in mortal combat the flower screeches and dies.

I did it hahaha fuck you dumb bitch its vines go slack and I pull them off but it takes me a bit because its thorns are stuck under my skin after I free myself I collapse shit my clothes are shredded and so is my flesh I'm a bloody mess I feel my soul start to slip away then a rush of energy fills my body I look and see a dark red mist come off the dead flower I stand and see my once destroyed body completely healed in fact I feel stronger.

I see the red mist from the flower entering my body I don't know what it is but it healed me so it isn't bad I think just where am I and what was that flower oh god my head hurts screw it I am not gonna die so I'll keep moving and try to find a way out so let's go off to find my way home.

I walk for a few hours and come across another flower but this one is in the ground plus it smells good like freshly grilled steak must use its scent to lure in prey I pick up a rock and throw it at its open mouth it quickly lasses out its tongue and grabs it but spits it out once it realizes its a rock so it will only attack it you touch its petals hehehe.

I pick up a bunch of rocks and start throwing them at the giant flower it picks up everyone and shallows them which makes it vomit violently and it's left exhausted I then pick up a head-sized rock and slam it down its throat it dies and red mist comes out of its body like with the other one.

It enters my body and all my fatigue and hunger disappeared I feel stronger I grab one of its petals it feels like tough leather I could never rip before but with a simple twist I tear it apart this energy makes me stronger then it's settled I'll kill as many monsters as I need to get stronger then I can kiss this place goodbye I see another flower in the distance its time to level up.
