Synopsis: After a night of drunken revelry with his colleagues, Josh Parker wakes up for no logical reason in Matthew Patel's body in the wacky universe of Scott Pilgrim. Author's Note: - This story was born from pure caprice on my part, so I want to inform you that I'm focusing on my Gravity Falls fanfic. - This is also a multiverse and a harem (I hesitate but I'll put the harem tag first). -Scott Pilgrim is not mine or any work of fiction you will see in this fanfic (even the cover of this fanfic)

Chapter 3: Preparation to penetrate the unforgiving world of Hollywood and discovery of the underworld.

Matthew's POV

"So this is my mental sub-space," I said, looking around me.

It looks like Greenland, I've never been there personally, but like many people, I've had to watch nature documentaries.

Everything was entirely white with a sky full of clouds and if that is combined with the snow on the ground, we get a monotonous all-white world.

"This place is really strange, I wonder why Scott didn't go see a psychologist if he had similar dreams recurrently," I said as I explored the place.

After a good hour of walking, the landscape hasn't really changed.

I finally decided to check some conjectures I made about this not very explored place in the Scott Pilgrim franchise.

If my conjectures are well-founded, then things in these worlds are going to be fun.

"Oh yes, it worked," I said excitedly.

In front of me, in this previously deserted place, there are now several documents scattered on the ground.

The documents are actually the original Matthew's memories. I had theorized that since the mental sub-space is part of a person's mind, then its owner should be able to affect it with their mind and vice versa.

If I'm right, then why not use it in a similar way to the Harry Potter wizards with their Occlumency?

"I now literally have a dimension in my head, but it's sad that I can't physically penetrate it," I said frustrated before making the documents containing Matthew's memories disappear.

...

(The next day at Gideon's office)

"Matthew, long time no see," Gideon said nonchalantly.

"Hello Gideon, yes, long time no see," I said politely to this scumbag.

"I'm going to be clear with you Matthew, I want to obtain the monopoly on the scripts you've written," Gideon declared in a serious tone.

It seems he's switched to business mode.

"Nah, it's me who wrote them all," I said firmly.

"You really want us to be enemies Matthew? For some green bills?" he asked, frowning.

I could tell Gideon was clearly trying to steal my work from me, but it's not important to me.

Although I urgently need money to help with my training, I know I have to focus on the long term.

So I need Gideon, more precisely his connections.

I'm even willing to back down for now.

"I propose this to you: I want to get into movies as an actor or screenwriter and you, you're close to Lucas Lee," I said, looking him in the eye.

"Get me a place in the unforgiving world of Hollywood and you can get not 70% as stipulated in our contract, but 90%," I said, getting up from my seat.

I wanted Gideon to understand that this is my limit and that I wouldn't back down any further.

"Okay, Matthew, but I..."

"I also want you to be able to convince the twins to give me lessons in technological fields," I quickly added before concluding the new deal.

"You're pushing your luck, you know that, right?" Gideon said, squinting at me.

"I'm just trying to make this deal profitable for me," I replied with a shrug.

"Huh, I can't blame you since you're poor, haha."

"Very funny, but send me part of my money in advance," I said, smiling as I watched his face crease at my words.

You shouldn't have tried to outsmart me. You may have had the chance to get money and glory as the owner of future hit movies, but I got priceless future contacts.

...

"Thank you for your visit, sir," the bank employee declared.

"You're welcome," I said with a sincere smile.

Currently, I no longer need to work at my little job. Gideon has started filming the movies and the advance he gave me is enough for a few months.

I can now focus fully on my supernatural powers.

"When I realized I was stuck in this world, I was depressed and angry, but now I'm starting to feel excited about my future," I said, looking at the purple-tinged sky due to the twilight.

I can't wait until tomorrow, but today I have to train with the girls.

In the end, I rushed in a good mood towards an abandoned building I had spotted recently.

"Matthew needs us," the girls' voices echoed around me as I was in the abandoned buildings.

"I have a question, girls, I'd like to know if it's possible to go to hell alive?" I asked, even though I was already aware of the answer.

My grimoire explains that it's possible but incredibly dangerous.

That's also why there are no explicit methods for it, it's a grimoire for beginner mages after all.

"Matthew wants to visit us!!" they said at the same time, looking at each other.

They suddenly moved away from me to have a mini-meeting.

"Matthew's soul already belongs to us anyway, so you can come but..."

They paused before nodding to each other.

"But Matthew must understand that the underworld is a dangerous place and we cannot guarantee your safety."

I see, that idiot Matthew had indeed sold his soul.

Anyway, it's not my problem.

"I agree." As soon as I had barely uttered those words, I lost all my strength.

...

"Matthew, welcome to our home," they declared at the same time, showing me a shocking landscape.

"Fuck, why did I want to come here," I muttered, looking at the unusual landscape in front of me.

There were grotesque creatures left and right, but surprisingly, the streets looked like those on Earth.

"I can sense that you are a fresh soul," declared a creature resembling a 2-meter tall bipedal goat.

He was dressed like a biker and to be frank, he was damn imposing.

"You can see that he's already under contract with us??" the girls declared, making a chain appear in their hands.

"What's that??" they said in shock at the same time.

"It seems this human has broken the contract with you by unknown means, but strangely you are still bound by your duty to him," the creature declared with a look full of curiosity.

Given the situation, I think I'm in deep shit.

...

"So you're saying Matthew wrote these films and you want me to help him penetrate the closed circle of Hollywood," Lucas said, sitting nonchalantly on a chair.

"Yes, that's exactly it," Gideon replied, adjusting his glasses.

"Frankly, if you want my opinion, he doesn't have what it takes to be in front of the cameras," Lucas declared, nodding his head as if his words were an irrefutable fact.

"We also think you should drop the idea that he could learn from us," one of the twins declared.

"I feel this meeting is going to be a headache," Gideon muttered, looking at his situation.

===============================

Author's Note: Maybe I'm repeating myself but I wrote this out of a desire to read some Scott Pilgrim and I discovered a fanfic about it so I lost motivation.

But surprisingly, people seem to appreciate this stuff, so I'll throw out chapters often, but my priority remains Gravity Falls.
