Scars To A Playgirl

...Invincible yet broken, she played a dangerous game... Tiana Almirez is an illegitimate child born into a rich family. She is a smart girl with a case of low self esteem. Or at least she was. After she forms an unlikely relationship with a third generation heir from her school, who is every bit fun and screams 'trouble', that timid girl is transformed into a confident and strong playgirl. Unknown to most people, Tiana actually lives a double lifestyle. To others, she's an invincible girl with a perfect life but alone, behind closed doors, she's nothing more than a broken and damaged girl struggling with her failing mental health. Lucas Williams is a teenager who has dealt with his fair share of mental health issues. When he is transferred to a new school, he can't help but immediately notice the popular girl whose eyes were so desperately screaming the very thing he had wanted the people around him to hear when he was at his lowest, 'Save Me!' What happens when Lucas feels the need to help this girl? Will she appreciate his help? Or will she hate him for it? What can Tiana do when the new boy at school suddenly threatens to tear down her perfect mask? Will she be able to keep her facade going? Or will she find herself falling in love with the very boy she regarded her archenemy?

UNEXPECTED VISITOR

Tiana's POV

I got home earlier than usual after taking an excuse from school. I was lucky mom was coming back late today. Otherwise if she had been home and I came back home this early after taking an excuse without informing her about it first, she would have been angry. But the excuse was warranted as I had a ton of work and assignments piled up to do today.

As expected, mom wasn't home so I let myself in. I trudged upstairs to take my bath and change into casual wear. Still drying my hair, I walked downstairs to the kitchen.

Mom left a note saying I could make myself veggie sandwiches if I was hungry. I groaned at the thought as I walked back upstairs.

Getting to my room, I took out my books from my bag and walked to the study table to place them on top but then I stopped. I looked around the room.
